Just felt the images were deceiving when booking room. Room was not as modern as expected.

Amazing breakfast. Probably best I've ever had in a hotel. Room was very dated and not as expected BUT extremely clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. Roof top pool was nice but hard to get a sunbed but this was expected this time of year. Thank you.

The standard room was pretty small with a small roof window. The pool located on rooftop of the annex building was kind of dirty, there was no shadow.

Nice location, pretty easy to park on the street in front of the hotel.

With respect to the pool... it could have done with maybe a few more sunbed as they were like gold dust!! Very hard to find even one free. Although admittedly, the pool area was not large and it could prove difficult to have added many more ...

The hotel was well situated. The staff were friendly. (Alessandro was especially helpful and reassuring when I returned to the hotel after having been pickpocketed in Florence) The room was clean and modern. And shower was lovely! The breakfast had a great selection of meats, pastries, rolls, fruit, and cereals. Plenty of choices!! A happy (4!) hour at the bar was nice. (25% off!) And liked we could sit outside on a terrace. It was also quiet in my room so easy to sleep. I was on the 3rd floor so window/ light was more via a roof window. Would have liked a bigger balcony perhaps. But that said, it wasn't essential. And with the humidity it was probably good to have the window closed! Air conditioning was good and effective. Liked there was a small fridge in the room...and also a small personal safe. All very useful. Room was also a good size so not shuffling around the bed! Very happy with hotel overall.

CONS: -Breakfast is included but its very low quality, everything seems pre-packaged, not fresh. -Our shower clogged very easily -Cleanliness was not good. Weird smell in the room, and found hairs in the extra covers -Soundproofing, most rooms are next to the elevator so you will hear a lot of guests.

PROS: -Location, very close to center. Shops/restaurants, etc -Room is comfortable and modern -Good transition hotel (wouldn't stay here longer than 2 nights)

Great stay at Hotel Boston, great value for money. Clean and comfy room, pleasant staff. Close to train station, ideal base to visit Florence, Lucca and Pisa.

Parking explanation was a bit confusing, I ended up parking and paying on the street and remind it on check out. Hotel looks lovely but a bit dated and in the room few things could be updated or checked. Also having just one person at check in can slow down a lot.

Location of the hotel was great, easy access, bed very comfy and so the shower very nice. Good continental breakfast and the staff made us nice coffee. Night staff friendly and helpful.

Room was located in another building which was annex building but not deserve 4stars, mattress was bad, we hadn't glass in our room. Breakfast is adoptable for Italian people mostly, very little salty things. Parking 5eur per day on the street.

Shower leaked a little but it didn't cause any issues. Coffee at breakfast could be a little nicer (we're both coffee snobs).

Friendly customer service, right from the first moment we arrived, very helpful. Breakfast was good. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Lift was working. Easy off-street parking.

the swimming pool was very crowded and there was no space to sit. also there were no points of shade on the terrace. the air con was very loud and noisy during the night. the coffee at breakfast was coming from an automated machine and it was not good.

The evening meal in the restaurant was ok for the price, but could be better to reflect Italian restaurants nearby.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is great as central point for exploring Tuscany. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The pool was a great bonus!

Breakfast lacked a little choice, but we enjoyed it. Breakfast system took a little getting used to. No kettle in the room.
