We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

FranceYes the hotel is not new, and there are a lot of negative review about this on google.maps. But you have to take into consideration the price also. For 62 euros ( booking.com or their website) for 2 persons what do you expect? Before booking, people should check first the reviews and real picture, in order to have an idea of the hotel. For me the hotel was good, and I accept its condition, by always having the price in mind. You get what you pay. There are plenty other hotels in IT, with the same condition for double the price.
The hotel is nice, has a big free parking space, the staff was really friendly, the breakfast was good. The area seems secure.

SloveniaAlthough the parking lot had fence around it, maybe it would be good for it to be entirely closed with some ramp/doors, but I didn't have the feeling of being dangerous as it's not near living area. The bed could/should be better, but that's the problem with all hotels (mattress just isn't good enough).
Big room, could easily fit 4 persons with two rooms that are available, clean bathroom. Staff was kind, knew English and check-in/out was quick. Breakfast is very good for such a in/out hotel, lots of stuff available. Parking lot is fenced and there are cameras, but you never know do you. Location is near the highway so that was awesome for us, as we were just passing by.

We were looking for a stopover hotel at a convenient distance, close to the autostrada and that had a decent restaurant. The Tulip ticked all those boxes. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good dinner and breakfast.
