눉There is a church clock nearby that goes of early in the morning so when you want to sleep in, earplugs might be good to bring along. I was often already waking up when the bell tolled, it just surprised and woke me the first day. My boyfriend however slept through the bell without earplugs, so it differs per person. If there is anything just make sure you tell them and everything they will help you as much as they can.
눇Everything! From the moment we landed at Fuimicino the taxi, we arranged via Campo de Fiori Boutique, was already waiting. We arrived in about 30-40min. at the B&B in a lively street, as almost all of Rome is. We were received by Andrea the night we arrived. In a room which was beautiful, clean and very big. Identical to the pictures. My main concern with foreign rooms is the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. This room was perfectly cleaned every day, new sheets, new towels and a clean bathroom, no weird smells. And the bed was also good for me, not too hard, not too soft, so I could get a good night rest after having walked all day through Rome. They ask what time you want to receive your breakfast and what you prefer. As I am not a big breakfast eater, all was fine for me. For coffee drinkers, there is a coffeemachine in the room. Everything in walking distance, location was perfect. For example +/- 20min walk to the Vatican, 15min Colosseum, no more than 10min to Piazza Navona and Pantheon, and I am a slow walker. And market Campo de' fiori is just down the street. Any special tips needed in Rome, Luca is at your service. In the morning around breakfast time he is present at the B&B, during the day you can text/app him for tips. Also he brought us personally to the Basilica di San Paolo fuori le Mura, a great tip, as well as the piazza Guiseppe Garibaldi where we had a beautiful view over Rome. Wifi was not working in the room at first, we mentioned this and it was fixed the same day. Perfect wifi the rest of our stay. All and all we had a pleasant stay at this B&B and when we will go to Rome again, we will definitely come back here. Thanks Luca and Andrea!
