Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was sometimes hard to function the A/C system. It would have been helpful to have a guide to help us know wha to do, as the room often felt very cold and we struggled to switch it off. The restaurant area was not always available for dinner. We planned to have dinner on our last day but both halls were in use. We were given alternative options, but it didn’t seem to be the same as what the hotel would usually offer.
We liked the comfort of the room, it was spacious and we had a balcony. The room had access to A/C. We had the room cleaned every day with refreshed towels which we were really grateful for. We had access to breakfast every morning which was delicious. The pool access was great, especially on warm weathers. The private beach access was great as there was minimal disturbances and made our holiday extra special.

ItalyNo meal is included.
The hotel is well set, is very fancy and provides also warming and quite apartments in a dedicated residence. The area is very quite, and super close to Paestum's temples, which are spectacular. Personnel is super friendly, and the sea is 5 minutes walking distance. It's perfect really.

SpainNot a full dislike but the apartment complex is not fully 4 stars. It is advertised for 4 adults but more adequate for 2 adults (couple) and 2 children, as the 2 single beds are actually part of the sofa.
High quality hotel and amazing staff. Managed to help us with early check in and late check out. Great swimming pool area and great private beach

FinlandNoise during the evenings/nights due to events. Most of the staff either seemed incompetent or they couldn't speak English and therefore didn't bother trying to serve well. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The lack of proper cold containers or surfaces was visible in lack of any greens. The quality of omelettes and cheese cuts depended entirely on your luck on the person working at the spot. The transportation options were abysmal. Busses were rare and unclear where they picked up, taxi was expensive for even the 3km trip to the train station. (15€). Walking would've been an option but not for everybody, as we had a heat wave going on plus the roads weren't very safe during the night.
Good air conditioning. Pretty looking hotel. Decent bed. Some people from the staff were great.

United States of AmericaIt was a bit of a challenge to communicate with some of the non-English speaking hotel staff and to get necessities in the apartment like trash bags, paper towels and fresh bath towels and linens.
This location is a hidden gem! Our 1BR apartment with kitchenette next to the main hotel in Laura looked out onto a decorative walkway with lush, tropical landscaping. It was a 5 minute walk from there to a sparkling, sandy beach on the Tyrrhennian Sea with views of the coastal mountains to the left and right. With a rental car, we found it easy to travel to the ruins in Paestum and Pompeii, the the coastal city of Salerno, the towns of Capaccio and Agropoli and nearby Barlotti Buffalo Farm where there is a wonderful restaurant set beside lovely walkable gardens and a path to see the buffalo that are famous for mozerella cheese. Another option is to stay in the hotel which has a number of spectacular design elements as it is a popular site for weddings.

United KingdomOur stay was spoiled because guests in the room two doors down kept leaving a barking dog in their room, even early in the morning, when they went to breakfast, so were woken by the barking on three consecutive mornings. We complained but nothing was done; the staff said they would get those guests to move but then failed to do so. They gave a tiny discount, despite us having two rooms. This 4* hotel only had one ironing board for guests use, which we never managed to get, so we were unable to iron clothes whilst at the hotel (on a two-week road trip).
Comfortable rooms and nice staff. Breakfast was excellent. Nice pool area.

United Kingdom1. The large pool was closed for weddings between 12:30 and 15:30 and not cleaning as we had been told. 2. We weren’t disrupted by the weddings but they were every day from what a guest staying in the main hotel said. 3. No kettle in the apartment. 4. No iron in the apartment. 5. Massive sink in a small bathroom was a bit odd. 6. The shower, glass door runner always jammed and had clearly been “repaired” at some point. The kitchen tap and the shower water are connected so don’t use them both at the same time or the temperature gets very severely affected. 7. The apartment only had a single free bed linen change which did not include a room clean. 8. There was a €40 charge to clean the room which included towels and bed linen change 9. The AC only went down to 21° 10. The large AC unit outside between the apartments and the car park was very noisy and could be heard in the apartment at night. 11. Reception staff had better English than I have Italian, not really a bad point but a bit difficult as I have no Italian. I used google translate a lot. 12. Breakfast was very limited. We only had it once. Our friend staying in the hotel brought her own in the end and had it with us. 13. Parking exit gate required you to get out of the car and press a receipt buzzer. I can understand this on the way in but the way out wasn’t very helpful as the buzzer was then on the wrong side for the left hand drive hire car so you had to get out. 14. The beach was great but there wasn’t any restaurants/food directly attached and what was available at the other beach restaurants was nice but don’t use google for their opening times, we spent our entire time missing food. 15. The local bar on the other side of the road was very noisy reasonably late. We weren’t affected too badly but if we had been in the apartments close to the road it would have been annoying. 16.
1. Parking for the apartments is right next to the apartments. 2. The apartments are 2 minute walk from hotel main reception. 3. There is a decent sized swimming pool that we had access to next to the apartment so we didn’t need to use the bigger pool that was used for weddings. Please see outside photo to see location. 4. The pool we used was a 1 minute walk from the apartment and wasn’t busy. 5. The bedroom was of a good size. 6. The kitchenette was functional. 7. It was possible to wash our baby in the bathroom, although tight the shower was big enough to put our travel inflatable baby bath in the base. 8. Beach was very nice as long as you sat in the 3rd row of chairs it was free. 9. The smell of eucalyptus trees on the way to the beach was nice. 10. The sea was a 10 minute walk, even with the baby and the heat it was easy to do and didn’t use the shuttle bus once. 11. Local shops are limited but good enough. (Didn’t find any baby formula though) 12. The staff were as accommodating with questions as my no Italian and their broken English allowed. 13. They let us settle our bill the night before we left as we were leaving early and they said there would only be a skeleton staff. 14. Using toll roads it’s only about 1 and half hours from Naples airport. (Don’t leave “avoid tolls” on like I did initially as that drive wasn’t fun and took and extra hour) 15. Toll was €2.10, I used cards and this worked every time although the transaction on a Sunday didn’t appear on my statement for 2 days, all other days the toll came off the card immediately. 16. We used the big pool in the photos once. It was nice and the baby liked it on a day when there weren’t any weddings. 17. Paestum really was very close and fully worth a visit. 18. Pompeii was only about an hour away with a €2.10 toll each way. 19. Decent safe in the bedroom, could fit my 13” laptop. 20. Hair dryer in bathroom was ok.

UkraineOf course everywhere there are small things to fix. Please add some vegetables to breakfast. make dressing room and toilet better at the beach and if possible wi-fi there. and it was very hard to find common language with personal, because they barely know English and I unfortunately do not know Italian.but till the end of our vacations either they got better in languages or me (or both 😅). also no gym is my personal disappointment , but it is not obligatory for everyone.
The interior, food, rooms, personal was really good. the rooms at the main hotel are nice , bicycles let you feel free in this city, blue flag beach and beautiful view are amazing. the way to the beach is through the forest which creates nice shade and aroma. the hotel usually hosts weddings and birthdays so you have a lot of locations to take pictures. I’d like to thank to the waiters who were really pleasant and smiley. And to the hotel manager who helped us a lot. Also , one hint, go to the gelateria at the corner of the beach - it is delicious!
