Lack of maintenance in some parts and when I asked for an iron, they didn’t have it.

We had an enjoyable stay at Classic Hotel. It is a lovely old converted house into a boutique hotel with old world charm. The location is great, very close to the Porta Romana and the entrance/exit of the Boboli Gardens and the Pitti Palace. It is in a lovely neighbourhood with easy access to the old town. The sunroom and backyard patios were lovely to sit and enjoy. Bernadetta was a friendly and helpful receptionist. Onsite parking was also a plus. Breakfast was ok.

Easy to find, parking on the drive. Large room, clean, comfortable bed. Pleasant, helpful staff who spoke good English. Great location 20 minute walk into the centre. Basic breakfast but ok.

A very nice cosy hotel and a good location. You can park the car, and it's a walking distance from the center, boboli gardens is very close. The hotel has its charm, and people are great there.

Great location. 15 min walk from all major sites. Very beautiful place. Real classic European. Not for someone that looks for modern luxury. 19th century luxury with bath. Big parking in entrance to the old city.

The breakfast was really disappointing though, starting from the options to the underground dungeon they have converted into a breakfast hall. Felt like off season the hotel really drops down they're standards but not as much their prices.

The room was amazing and the property was generally clean. The location is great and they have a lot of parking space. They have a tesla charger only so if you're planning to take any other EVs you are going to have to charge your car elsewhere.

Poor breakfast, I know that in Italy this is the type of breakfast that people eat but it could have some extra types of food for tourists (ex: eggs and some vegetables)

Great location in parkland offering peace and tranquility from an otherwise bustling city. This old world hotel retains both charm and character, whilst benefitting from the most cheerful snd helpful staff.

The wi fi didn’t work at my room

The breakfast is too simple and has got no hot food. The quality is just so so. My room has no separate bathroom and you need to work on it yourself by moving some parts, a bit troublesome.

The hotel has very good location, just outside the old city. You can walk in the city on foot in 20 minutes. It is quite old buildings with parking, but not so many. The rooms have got air conditioning and it is useful in hot weather.

Everything was great with the hotel. One thing I did not really like was that everytime I was passing by reception, entering or leaving the building, staff was asking me what room I was in. After the first 2-3 times, it became annoying, as if I am an intruder and not a hotel guest.

the shower could have been cleaner, the airco was leaking on the couch. the style of the room was boring. breakfast was minimal.

Very poor Wi-Fi signal, the tv and lamp didn’t work, no plugs in room to charge phones, cobwebs everywhere in rooms, reception area, toilets. Mould and tiles missing in the bathroom . Breakfast was very basic, reception area was noisy in the morning where our room was. Really needed a good clean to freshen the whole hotel up and needed a bit of tlc. No good value for money at all.

It was a good location. One of the staff had worked there for 25 years was really pleasant. Clean towels.

The bathroom needs refurbishing and the air conditioning was very poor.

We arrived early and the lady kindly allowed us to leave our car so that we could walk into the centre of Florence. Extremely handy distance, 15 mins to Ponte Vecchio. We highly recommend after a long hot walk in the centre the PortoRomana Pizza e Grill which is at 500 metres away. Lovely staff.
