Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicThe hotel is not right in the center, but about 5 minutes from the city walls, meaning it takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center.
A hotel with a 24/7 reception, nice rooms equipped with everything we needed. The hotel also offers breakfast, which was decent. Both sweet and savory options were available, all of good Italian quality.

HungaryThe staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and just enough for 2 adults with 2 kids, but the hotelf itself is not so spacious. Breakfast is just fine, no special comments; maybe more vegetables would be nice. The location is perfect, less than 10 mins walk from Basilica Palladiana. Would come again!

ItalyOne point to consider: If you're a light sleeper, be aware that some rooms, particularly those on the third floor near room 19, might be affected by the hotel's neon sign. The light from the sign could potentially disrupt sleep.
For budget-conscious travelers seeking a convenient and comfortable stay in Vicenza, look no further than Hotel Cristina. This charming hotel, located just steps from the main railway station, offers incredible value for money. My recent overnight stay was a delightful experience. The biggest perk of Hotel Cristina is undoubtedly its location. Stepping out of the hotel, you're practically at the train station, making onward journeys a breeze. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance of many of Vicenza top tourist attractions. I could easily explore the city center, including historical landmarks and vibrant squares, without needing any public transport. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It provided everything I needed for a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. The staff was also friendly and helpful, offering local recommendations and ensuring a smooth stay.

CanadaThe room and toilet were a bit cold as we were unsure if the room's heater/thermometer was working. Some of our towels also didn't seem to be clean which was surprising as everything else was spotless for our room.
Though we only stayed at the hotel for 1 night, we felt the hotel was located close to the city centre and train station. There were a lot of restaurants, cafeterias, and groceries stores within walking distance from the hotel. The beds and pillows were comfortable for our family of 4. All of the staff were also friendly, helpful and accommodating with our requests.

United KingdomThis time I decided to pay for a superior room but I was very disappointed, the TV was smaller and from on side of the bed a lamp was right in front, the room and the toilet were also smaller than a standard room.
I always enjoy this hotel, I've been there many times before and the location is great! The hotel usually have a big smart TV right in front of the TV, spacious rooms and decent space bathrooms.

GermanyThe heat did not seem to work the night we were there (maybe I didn’t adjust correctly). It was quite cold in the room. We checked in very late and left early in the morning.
The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good.

GermanyUpon arriving, I was accommodated very quickly and respectfully. The staff was able to speak English very clearly. Regarding the room itself, little things like a fresh water glass over the sink and some sweets on the bedside table show how you as a guest are cared about. Overall I felt very welcomed and recommend the CityHotel to everybody travelling to Vicenza.

RussiaCristina is a small hotel located in just two steps from Vicenza's central station and the old town. The room was very nice and clean, the bed was huge and soft. Unfortunately, we left too early and were unable to taste the hotel's breakfast, but we fully appreciated the convenient location so close to the beautiful historical town - the gates of ancient Vicenza were only a block away.

AustraliaBeds were a bit firm. Small tip for the area; avoid walking through the park, in front of the train station, to get to the hotel; walk to the right of the park instead!
Location is in close proximity to the train station, 10-15 minute walk into the city centre and has some great eateries close by. The hotel lobby area is great and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. The rooms are somewhat outdated, but has everything you need. The breakfast was also quite vast; eggs, toast, cereals, yogurts, pastries, coffee machine, fruit, cheese, sliced meats etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at CityHotel Cristina 🙂
