Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaBeautiful location on the 'back' of Mt Vesuvius and with splendid views of the sea from the terrace. Each morning a wonderful breakfast was served in the dining room. Hosts were engaging and extraordinarily friendly and informative.

PolandAmazing place. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Only the rooster didn't like me. We couldn't dream of a better place for a holiday for 6 people. A very large terrace with the volcano and the bay butiful view. Perfect location for visiting all the important attractions around Naples. Vesuvius, Pompeii. Naples, Amalfi Coast and of course Capri.

United KingdomThe terrace is shared between you and the next room, a little partition would add a little feeling of privacy so both feel welcome to enjoy without disturbing the others. A little cushion would add comfort to sitting at the table and chairs outside. For nervous drivers be aware the access road is a tight lane although traffic lights ensure you don’t meet on coming traffic.
The views are amazing! From Vesuvius across the whole bay. Peaceful and sunsets on the terrace with a candle at night, waking to the sound of a distant cockrell, beautiful. Such friendly owners and very respectful even asking if he could lean into the room when showing us to turn on the lights and step back out. Pastries and fruit for breakfast with coffee, tea and juice. Hair dryer in the room and a lockable tin and fridge very handy. Very clean and lovely fruit trees across the garden with lots of places to sit and enjoy.

United States of AmericaShower fairly small . Not sure how it could be enlarged because of room size
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fairly typical for an Italian B and B but filling and good. Views of the Bay of Naples from the balcony were gorgeous and the view of Vesuvius really brought out the history buff in me. Be sure to visit Herculaneum site.

United KingdomNothing. It was all lovely. I only put "Good" rather than "Excellent" on the facilities because the wi-fi at the annexe is a bit intermittent. I think that is just what is available locally. There is good wi-fi in other areas of the property so one can catch up or look for information sitting somewhere else. It is a good opportunity to switch off and read a book instead - very relaxing.
I stayed for a week and it was delightful. The hosts, Gabrielle and Roxanne are exceptionally kind and welcoming. I stayed in the annexe building which has a splendid view over the valley to the bay of Naples. Gabrielle picked me up from the airport and took me back so I didn't have to cope with the local traffic. The location is slightly outside Torre del Grecco, but only 10 minutes drive. It is very peaceful and quiet and the air is clear. The breakfast is good and included scrambled eggs from the farms own free-range chickens and delicious pastries. The rooms are spotlessly clean and there is plenty of water pressure in the shower. The room accommodates a large double bed, easily enough space for two average size people. the sheets were changed while i was there so really clean and the towels are a generous size and nice and soft. There is a little covered terrace outside the room with chairs and a table , which is ideal for an evening glass of wine or a picnic. There is a little fridge in the room , so if you buy drinks and snacks, or even ice cream, in the local supermarket they can stay super fresh. There is a local pizzeria where you can order takeaways -or even have your pizza delivered. There was a dinner evening with other guests, cooked by Roxanne and it was like an international party - with delicious traditional Neapolitan dishes. Roxanne is a talented cook.

PolandTraditional agroturismo run by Italian marriage (with a little help of two dogs :)) beautifully located at the foothill of Vesuvio with just amazing view on the Napoli Bay and Capri. We were warmly wellcomed by the host the first moment we get there (just as the real guests) and then they were very helpful during all of the stay. Delicious breakfast, great hospitality, space and atmosphere of true Italian holidays. We recomend for families, for groups of friends. We wish to come back there one day.
