Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was newly refurbished but rather small. The air in the room gets hot and sticky quickly.
The Terrace is certainly an asset of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and supporting with storing the luaggage.

Our room on the third floor was a bit loud.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. They were proficient in English which was a real bonus. We were pleased with the housekeeping service as well as the breakfast.

We went to the restaurant for dinner on our last night. The food was good but way overpriced for what it was.
Great property, newly renovated. Breakfast was included in the price. The lady that made-up our room was fantastic, very friendly & polite. The hotel is very central to cabs, trains and buses.

Bathroom was very small. But still manageable. Something to consider if you are a large person.
Great location. Very central and waking distance from main historic sites. Staff was polite and accommodating. Rooftop was very convenient if you felt like a low key night in. Breakfast and dining services also available at their restaurant.

The staff at Diana were extremely helpful. The roof garden is lovely as is the buffet breakfast, the rooms are lovely and very central with some lovely restaurants in walking distance, we could not fault this stay.

Price for a single room was around $AUD300 a night. Overpriced for what it was. Friends travelling with me paid $150 a night for a double room with a balcony.
Location was great, good quality hotel.

Not a good area for walking or restaurants. Couldn’t keep window open because of noise. Breakfast didn’t start until 7am and we had to leave for the airport at 7.

The room and particularly the bathroom, was quite dated and in need of an upgrade. Need to take care when stepping in/out of the narrow bath. The shower placement is also quite weird. Only 1 lift and if there's a tour group there overnight, it's pretty hectic.
6 minute walk to Roma Termini is a big plus. Room was clean and comfortable Good breakfast of hot/cold/cereal/fruits/meats/cheeses/pastries etc.

The front desk staff are not the friendliest or the most helpful. I asked if they could make a dinner reservation for me for any of the 2 days and they never got back to me nor offered other suggestions. We had to bring our own luggage in and no help from staff. Breakfast should have more "healthy" options. Facility is starting to look "tired and worn".
I have been staying here for a number of years so location and size of room are why I stay.

When you had a shower the water ran on the floor and out the door. So we constantly had a towel on the floor at the door way.
Aircon was good. Location. Bed comfy. Gavin a bar and restaurant on site was very convenient. Staff were helpful

The shower area. Way too small
Ideal central location. We were able to walk to all the sights. The room was large and clean but the ensuite was a bit cramped. The shower was over the bath and that was tiny. Overall it was a great hotel

Nice Rooftop bar for evening drinks, Close to Rome Central Station. 20 minute walk into town, plenty of restaurants and mini marts on your doorstep.

Little bit tired. Needs decorating especially the corridor to the breakfast room
