Location was good with a short walk to town and the harbour. Spoilt for restaurants and bars in the centre. Had private parking but you can also park on the street which is very secure and safe to leave your vehicle. Beds was comfortable with decent size rooms.

A bit pricey for the value but a very solid stay. Great if you have a ferry to catch from Piombino.

Piombino is extremely small and nothing much to see. The Castle seemed like a nice place to see but the signs directed you in a circle but never to the Castle. More of a local city not geared for tourism which is nice but some locals were more than happy to let you know you were not local. Had we known there was really nothing to do in Piombino, we would not have stayed and gone directly to the ferry to Elba.

Room was spacious, balcony was very small, bathroom great water pressure and hot water. Staff were very very helpful and friendly. Parking was offsite with NO charge. Found a spot across the street and was assured it wouldn't be towed and was still there when we left!!

Great location, silent but close to the city centre. Amazing front desk, both morning and evening, extremely helpful, ready to give all sort of information, from the best local pizza to the cheapest taxi, they helped me make the most of my stay. Exceptionally clean room.

car park is not for free (which is understandable) and neither cheap we booked last minute (the same day) and we ended up staying in a family room - quite expensive in consideration of the very basic facility we slept in. The bed was not very comfy, although they provided extra pillows (already available in the wardrobe).

The Hotel is well positioned if you are travelling by car and need to leave early in the morning to go getting a ferry (like we did). The staff is absolutely lovely and very welcoming does not matter the time of your check in (we arrived quite late in the night). the room was clean. Good breakfast included and available from very early in the morning.

The Hotel Est is a nice clean friendly hotel within walking distance of the tourist area, the Piazza Bonio, the museums, and restaurants, but in a mostly residential neighborhood with a half dozen much better (and cheaper) restaurants. And it has air conditioning. It is also quite close to a bus stop.

It's a nice clean friendly hotel, with air conditioning, that is close to restaurants and shops that are NOT tourist traps. But it is within walking distance to the tourist area, the ocean, the piazza and museums. They provided free bicycles and were very accommodating in calling taxis and storing our luggage when we went overnight to Elba (we have no Italian). The 6 eu breakfast was simple, but a good bargain with espresso, pastries, boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. And it's very close to the main road and a bus stop, so getting to the train station or cruise ship was easy, though for 10 eu the taxi when we had luggage was handy. We are elderly, but we handled the stairs - we turned down the offer to carry our luggage - maybe if we return!

I would never call it a hotel, it is more proper to call it hostel. You hear from your bed that how the mad italians drive motorcycles like crazy all night long, it is like you live by motorway. Isolation of walls and window does not exists at all. You hear your next dooor neighbour pee. . The location is really awful if you look for peace and calm. The breakfast was a very big disapointment, only one sort bread, cheese. They seem count the eggs they bring in to the 25 m2 restaurant. No variation att all. I paid around 95 euro for one night for me and my kid. I would even warn you that restaurants in central Piombino act a bit as racists. They dont welcome tourists so warmly. Spain is much better and cheaper, even turkey and greece.
