Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Very comfortable and quiet place, excellent breakfast, very nice and helpful staff, unfortunately we were not able to try the pool due to circumstances of lost luggage during flight. There is even a washing maschine and a dryer in the basement for use.

Everytime when we enter the room there is not a nice Smell, but after a few minutes if you open all windows , it dissappear.
Good Size and facilities in the room, everything you need. . Nice Swimming pool.. Rooftop terrace. Nice staff. Still and sparkling water available. Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff in the restaurant.

The only small issue I noticed was a slight smell in the rooms when you first walked in from the fresh air. It was a bit stuffy, but nothing too major. Both our room and our friends' room had the same issue, so it might be a good idea to keep the windows open while you're inside the room.
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel! The team was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast ladies were amazing - they were always smiling and happy to have a chat. The breakfast atmosphere felt just like home, very cozy and welcoming. The swimming pool was clean and the water was warm, making it a perfect place to relax. The spa area was also well maintained, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable time.

I can’t find anything negative to say, it only requires use outputs for phone charging.
It was in a great location, easy to walk and the owner was very friendly and welcoming!

The spa is not top notch: sauna didn't have a clock nor a thermometer, showers run down.
Rooms are new and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Service and facilities are awesome. Location is great. Near to the historic centre (10/15 minutes walking), and close to a supermarket and a broad selection of restaurants. Breakfast is great, with fresh fruit and good products.

The steam room didn't work while we were there but they were trying to fix it. The breakfast was a little overpriced for what there was available.
Very kid friendly and has all the amenities even an ice machine! Indoor pool was really nice for the winter and the breakfast was great, but just a little pricey! One of the only hotels near the center where you can park on site and you don't have to do a 3rd party garage, plus 25 euros is a great price for all day parking.

Safe did not work.

Nothing! Loved it
We loved the hotel and the customer service!! Rooms were really spacious and clean! Everyone working at the hotel is so nice! There’s fruit and water at the front which was great. The man working night shift was so helpful - we didn’t catch his name but he made our stay really special!!!

I had problems operating the steam and sauna
OK so the only reason why I gave a 9 out of 10 instead of a 10 out of 10 was because the sauna and steam room where difficult to operate, there was no thermometer or time mecanism in the sauna and the steam room just didn't work. A part from that, everything was excellent, the staff were friendly, the room was nice and clean and the parking service was excellent

I have been back a couple of times and this time I came with two firenze. We had a lovely time and treated ourselves with a massage too. Exceptional facility, welcome and helpful staff. Super clean room and in a desirable position.
