Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room was very small, I was a solo traveller and barely in the room so it wasn't too much of an issue, just something to be aware of. One morning the shower was a bit temperamental but turning it off and on seemed to resolve it.
Very comfortable bed and good location for the metro, Vatican City and the Stadio Olympico, but at the same time not being a massively touristy area.

LithuaniaI think it's time to clean the shower because the shower head was very dirty. Everything else in the room was clean. Think of small favors that would help improve the stay of other guests, small soaps, shampoos and other things.
We liked that the receptionist helped us switch rooms with a balcony. And later it helped to find a way out for transportation. He was the best worker of all stay days. We loved the bed, it was really nice and soft, the balcony provided a lot of light and coziness and the air conditioner works very quietly, which was very surprising. Location is very good.

IndiaThe rooms are too small. The shower space is too small to comfortably take a bath, i accidentally turned the tap off with my back while showering multiple times. No bidet or hand shower.

LithuaniaWhen tried to take shower in the first night it didnt work. We called the worker and he fixed it. Dated furniture. No glasses for water but only plastic ones. We think that for 200€ per night this should be included.
Good place in the city. Comfy bed.

AustraliaThe room was very tight, I had to manoeuvre around the bed and the doors on the shower were very awkward to navigate. The windows were difficult to open and lock as the mechanisms were broken.
It had a convenient location, close to the Metro and walking distance to some of the sights. It was clean.

CanadaBed: ....... 4.5 maybe 5/10. only because it was very very stiff and I personally cannot do a hard bed. HOWEVER, It is Europe and from what I've noticed all the beds are hard there unless youre going to like a luxurious place and spending lots. For the price and location and eveything I'd say the bed then upgrades to a solid 6.5 or 7/10. But if you do not mind a harder bed then for sure 8 maybe 9/10 for you. It was a large bed for a double bed so that was great. I went during the summer so I did ask for a blanket because they only gave you a small sheet to cover up/sleep with. Hotel Noise - not bad -There will always be a little noise where you go for sure.. but if youre staying on the main floor like I did (floor where you check in) you will hear more noise. But, I mean youre in ROMA to sightsee and so you'll be tired enough to just fall asleep lol. But bring ear plugs just in case. Plus theyre good for the plane ride too. Breakfast: Unfortunatly due to "covid" they were not serving breakfast. In my opinion... this was a little bit strange as I did ask other hotels around if they were serving and this hotel was the only one that was not. They did allow you to use their common kitchen to make a breakfast if you brought or had your own things but .. like yeah. Many nice places to eat around too but it would have been nice. Overall though I'd say this hotel is worth the stay and i did have a great time so I am happy!
From Canada, I travelled alone and in my opinion here's how it went: Location: 10/10 for sure! It's literally a 14 minute walk to the Vatican/Vatican city. Do yourself a favour & check out the sunrise at the vatican square & check out St. Peters Basilica church FIRST thing in the morning. my advice is to get there at 8 am to avoid lines. It's beautiful. This hotel is within walking distance to everything! about 40 min walk to the Trevi fountain and 1 hour to the collesium BUT if you have data use those little scooters and get around its so fast! Great location Room: 7/10 I was alone -lets keep that in mind so for the double bed room that i had i thought it was good, tight for sure but good. Even if two people shared the room I had I think you'd survive. I did get lucky and get a balcony so the view in the morning was nice! Bathroom: Small and cosy but it gets the job done. Staff: They were great and helpful for sure! English speaking which was helpful but I am sure they are versed in a few other languages. AIRPORT: 10/10. GREAT LOCATION for getting to FCO Airport (which is where most people will probably fly out of) Okay so save yourself the taxi or cab which is like 40-80 EUROS and instead go online and buy yourself a bus ticket departing from the Vatican bus stop. (Google directions to get to FCO airport from the hotel and put bus route and you'll find what the route) TRUST me on this one. the bus ticket is 9 euros or something way cheeper than anything else, walk down to the bus stop the day before just so you know your route because the stop is hard to see if youre going in a hurry so go early so you know where to go, its right on the street i walked past it like ten times hah. It's a 10 minute walk away from the hotel I promise its super worth it. Get there like 15 minutes early and all your worries will be gone.

SwitzerlandThough I had NO PROBLEMS personally, I asked a quiet room and I got it, I guess that the noise isolation of the doors/rooms must be implemented.

GreeceVery small room, way smaller than the photos that are provided online. At the photos the rooms seem very spacious, but our room was very very small and had nothing to do with the one we had booked at booking.com. We were there five days and in order to change our sheets and towels, we had to tell them so (they only changed them once and not by their initiative).
The location is very nice. Central hotel but at a quiet neighborhood, very close to the Vatican and to the Castel Sant' Angelo. Close to bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets.
