I enjoyed my stay and would come back to explore Tivoli instead of Rome next time. Rome too crowded.

I booked through Booking and specified 24 hour check in and airport shuttle because my flight was arriving at 10pm. The hotel requested my flight arrival time, but after waiting 45 minutes outside for shuttle they sent a text saying shuttle not available and that I should take a taxi. The taxi cost me 100 euro which was more than my flight to Rome. Hotel said I should take it up with Booking.com I was lucky the taxi accepted credit cards because I did not have that much cash. Make sure that shuttle service is indeed provided by hotel before you make a reservation

The included breakfast was exceptional. Staff very friendly and informative on public transport to Rome. Clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms.

Easy to park and visit Tivoli from there, the swimming pool was pleasant but maybe they could have bar service.

While the hotel's services are okay, it's clear that it needs updating. The bed, sheets, and towels are worn out, and the shower is hard to reach. The bathroom layout is awkward, and the air conditioning didn't work, so we had to open the window, which made it noisy at night. In general, the hotel is a bit expensive for what you get. On the upside, they have an electric car charging station and plenty of parking, which is convenient.

The bedrooms could do with an update. I didn’t like that I booked a spa hotel and found out when I arrived that you had to pay extra each day to use the spa ! Location was very far out from the centre of Rome, which made it difficult for a taxi to the airport and also very costly . In fact, I checked out a day early to check in another hotel. The purpose of my trip was to relax use the spa, and in fact, it was very stressful, and none of that was achieved .

The hotel itself was nice, spacious, and overall okay. The gymnasium was modern.

Reception around 11pm was only partially occupied and service for the check in was very slow. Shower in room was extremely tiny, barely allowing to enter and close the door.

Breakfast buffet included is absolutely satisfactory.

    - The AC did not work properly (40deg. outside) - The pool towels are paid and 3€ each (hotel room towels are forbidden) - The internal phone to call the lobby never worked, nobody answered - Credit cards are not accepted at the pool. You have to wear clothes, walk back again to the inside/lobby to pay and come back

    - The pool was so good and relaxing - The food at the restaurant

Location is very good outside Rome center. Easy to find and access by car. You can reach Rome city center by bus or train in 40min. The hotel is on a high level. Breakfast was great. Lots of options. Very friendly staff. Free parking. Excellent WiFi. We entered our room early in the morning despite we were expected at 14:00.

    Worst hotel experience ever!

This hotel will remain as a WORST HOTEL SERVICE EXPERIENCE that I ever had! So if you ever book a room here - you should expect that hotel will not have room for you on your arrival, you will be informed about that on reception upon your arrival !!! Thats was my experience here. Just think about that - you carefully plan your trip, book hotel rooms, pay for that, ready to enjoy your time - and booom ! you arrive to hotel - no rooms available - thats how Duca D"Este works,,, It was a long business trip by car, decided to book one night stay with spa to relax after a long journey. My booking was confirmed by booking.com and hotel as well. Arrived late , around 10-11 at night , parking had a plenty of free space, low season in the middle of March . Hotel's Receptionist on the reception desk informed me that they dont have available room for me! Asked them to check carefully all info - maybe possible to find a room just for one person one night, than came another man that represented hotel and in a very unpolite way told me that they have some kind of problem, that was not specified, therefore no room available for me...In total it was 3 persons on reception talking to me in a rude way in the middle of the night in an empty hotel trying convince me that in low season in big hotel with 180 rooms they dont have a single room available. hotel looked really empty, no guests in bar and restaurant, lobby, or halls, no guests movings during my 20 min conversation at reception. My feedback on reception staff is- rude, unprofessional, unwelcoming, not trying to help to solve the problem, not oriented to customer service, totally unsatisfied experience in this hotel.

We had a terrible and a very strong smell of the sewer in the room during the whole stay. Opening the windows did not solve this and the reception could not provide any help.

I would say this is a good 3 star but no way should this be classified as a 4 star hotel. Firstly, the rooms are too small, I found the bed a little uncomfortable, the breakfast was mediocre plus the other meals did not look appealing. You had to pay a lot for everything. Not even a gym included for the price we paid. To add to this, it took the front staff about 20 mins to get us booked in. We could not figure out what the problem was. The price just doesn't justify.

The spa was attached to the property.

Staff was not very helpful. Too far from Rome City centre. Although there was a train station 15 min away by walk, the service was limited on sat and Sunday. There is no public taxi service in the area. You will have to pay €180 per day to access indoor pool if you are a family of 4!

The room was good size. We opted for the suite which had 2 rooms. Breakfast was good.
