How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bad experience with a rude and not welcoming receptionist which did not admit her mistake during the check-in. It is unacceptable to have this welcoming in a 4-stars hotel.
Clean and cozy room. Great neighborhood, full of bars and restaurants.

Hotel reception staff not particularly polite, fluent English but no smiles and minimum direct eye contact. We had to push our lugguage into the lugguage room by ourselves, first time in our experience having stayed in hotels almost all over the world over past 30 years
Though room was small, but very nice and comfortable newly refurbished, with a nice airy balcony facing the snow capped mountain. Hotel nested in a nice tranquil neighborhood called Fleming Hill ( we were told by taxi driver that this is an affluent upper middle class neighborhood), there are a few boutiques, coiffure and cafes around, even a supermarket within 10 min walk. Also, there is a taxi waiting area right outside the hotel, making transportation convenient too . Housekeeping cleaning lady very nice, friendly and responsive

The cleaning staff were not replenishing supplies , we had rom complain. The hotel should upgrade their internet connection for more efficient working.
The view was great, location very ideal for taxi or public transport. The heating system was very efficient. The solo gym is an added advantage.

Bathroom floor was full of hair. No bottled water available in the room. No kettle/coffee machine.

Staff were very abrupt in answering questions regarding internet and AC we waited I. The nearby taxi rank for 15 minutes when we asked receptionist to call us a taxi she just told us to go wait more The cafe opposite called us a taxi and it came immediately

Restaurant for dinner was'nt as good as I thought it should be. Having to get a special key for the gym was a bit of a pain.
It was a great check in experience. The room size was fantastic - if a bit basic, but was clean and was perfectly fine for our trip. Staf were attentive.

we booked one double room with the bath and I had to requested in the venue because they assign one without. double bed is 2 single bed together and not comfortable because you have the space in the middle.not pleasant smell from the bathroom

Breakfast was poor, but coffee was good :)
Room was big and clean, beds were comfortable enough, bathroom size is big with jacuzzi tab, accessible by car and easy to find parking, 12-15 min driving to Colosseum or any Piazza, staff very polite.

I still don’t know why the hotel doesn’t supply a kettle for making tea and coffee ? It is quite inconvenient.

very far for tourist . bus station is about 2 minute walk but just for one line another line station is further . nothing in minibar and nothing in bathroom .. you should ask for everythings .

Would be nice to have a few extra English channels. Emails and messaging communication was a little slow. It says there was airport shuttle available and there wasn't.
Room was ok for the 2 night stay. Nice breakfast spread. The 24 hour help desk was great. Lots of restaurants nearby. Close to bus stops that can take you straight to the city center.
