Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Limited catering facilities, no kettle in apartment but we were given one by reception when we asked.
Lovely and peaceful place to stay. You are able to walk into town and beach but allow 20 to 30 minutes. Free parking outside on the road.

Apartment was nice, clean , cozy bed, staff friendly and helpfull. Place is close to the beach with lovely see. Just everything you can here like the other guest are in your apartment. So was little bit noisy

The only small thing was a long check in process- if you get sent a form to fill put first we suggest you do it!
The pool, the location and the facilities were great. We were a group of 4 friends and enjoyed relaxing at the pool and beach.

Should supply dishwashing liquid and sponge to wash dishes. Reception wants to charge 6 euro for 50ml bottle.
We liked the resort with pool, sun beds and small coffee shop onsite.

Some spiders in the bathroom, shower head wasn’t working properly. A call from angry reception staff that we should come back and pay for breakfast, even though we didn’t have any. Misunderstanding, yet no apologies for it…
Nicely laid out resort, green garden. Apartment was small but had everything we needed. Free use of sunbeds at the beach (1km walk). Close to a great restaurant!

The sleeping area was very small. I had a feeling of sleeping in a walk-in closet, because of a strange barrier installed in the middle of the room (to split the room into a bedroom and living area-totally unnecessary in my opinion.)
Well located, close to the night life, still quiet. The pool area looked nice, we didn’t use it though.

It is very expensive for what it is. I booked a room which is supposed to be for 4 people. I would not recommend this room as it was very small for 2 people. They did not clean our room at all. They only replaced the towels. The rooms are dated with no Wifi.

The number of sunbeds at the beach were limited to two adults. Being a family of 5 members, it would have been better to have more sunbeds available for our family.
The pool is big and very clean. The Beach is a few minutes away. The staff is really helpful. Lisa at the resort was really helpful.

I found the staff (or maybe the policy) inflexible and some things were unnecessary especially when people are on holiday. For example i found it silly that we paid more than 400 euros for 2 nights but we had to "rent" the towels for the pool. Or that the studio although it has a kitchen and utensils, there was no sponge or liquid to wash dishes/ glasses. In addition i asked for a bit of oilive oil at the bar and they charged a small sachet 50p. These were small things and we were expecting that it should have been part of the deal.
The swimming pools are great because they have different levels and my toddler really enjoyed this Access to the pool through the studios in the garden was very nice and easy.

Room size considered to be for 4 is way too small. You are in between your luggages as there is no space to put them away properly. 2 rooms but 1 AC, so in order to have room no 2 somewhat cool you freeze in the room no 1 with the AC just above your head. Room equipment, outdated, rusty and worn-out. Mattraces put your back in pain. Room service exists only twice a week. Shower water drops rather than runs - no pressure. You tell it at the reception & get to hear we will look into it & nothing changes. Sound isolation: you hear everything from the room next door - the doors isolate nothing, it is not a door but a shutter as you have them on windows. Internet: not working, as a “piece is broken & it’s been 10 days & it could not be repaired.“ But it’s Italy - no need to improve anything foreigners love it just the way it is. So let’s change nothing they will still come.
