Difficult stairs to navigate

Access to plugs for phones, room housed 4 people, but there were 4 working plugs near beds for charging phones, extension cord didn't work. Although I was ok with stairs, if I were to travel with my parents, the amount and intensity of stairs would have been awful for them. I would increase the description of this

You could not ask for a better location, it is just in the city center close to the cathedral. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was very clean. .

The bathroom was a bit smelly at times (drainage) which would necessitate keeping the door closed so that the smell won't disperse in the bedroom. The kitchen hob was out of order although we didn't really need to use it, except for an electric kettle that was actually available (but maybe for others the hob might come in handy).

The location is very central a few steps away from the Duomo. Every other main attraction of the city is easily within reach. The area is busy and rather noisy till late but we didn't mind hearing the sounds of live music in the piazza and chattering of passers by; after all we were on holiday for a few days, so this did not bother us. The guesthouse is old, amenities are basic but sufficient, the room included a private bathroom and general level of cleanliness is good. Housekeeping is good and towels are changed daily. The room was comfortable in the sense that it was private and I could even go out at 5.30am without disturbing or bothering anyon. We could also keep luggage at reception on checkout which gave us the possibility of a few more hours before we departing Florence. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse Bel Duomo and would highly recommend it for the good reasons given above.

Room is a little outdated. Expect some noise as it is based on a very busy and popular street. Beds were uncomfortable.

Amazing location, right near the duomo, staff were all very nice and friendly. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops. Felt safe in this location. Room was quite spacious.

There were a few minor issues, the sink plug was broken, the electric jug had to be changed due to a dreadful taste/smell, the apartment stove top didn't work at all but we hadn't expected one - I was just glad I realised before buying groceries to keep costs down - so always check the stove works!

noise ll the day and night, but ok.

the location was the start of the stay. round the corner form the main cathedral and just 10 min walk from the main station. heaps of cafes and restaurants around the area. all within walking distance. the room was old but with high ceiling which made it authentic for us.

Lots of stairs may not suit some people. Street noise was noticeable but not during sleeping hours.

Fantastic location near the Duomo with a view of the dome and morning wake up with the bells. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable (although rather old) and extra pillows and blankets were provided. After hours access was easy after our arrival was delayed.

Great location, easy check in, staff are lovely and helpful. Our room (with balcony) was great! We found it to be quiet, private, great view of the duomo, large room. Our room had its own ensuite in the room which was great! Felt very safe with various levels of security. Amazing value, would recommend.
