It is not possible to park your car near the hotel, the area is reserved for residents only. However, there is a private parking lot nearby.

The hotel is well located, close to the sea and center of Ortiga. I definitely recommend rooms with a sea view. Good breakfasts and nice service. ​

It would be better if they could keep the door handle in good condition so we would not have been locked down in a room for an hour

we enjoyed the two nights staying here very much, breakfast and seaview were wonderful, like the free carparking spaces, save a lot of money, we used the roof sundeck/balcony to enjoy our afternoon tea party. walk to the plaza in few minetes.

Rooms are comfortable but rustic.

Excellent location and has a rooftop seating area open to all guests. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are free parking spaces next to the hotel but they fill up quickly.

I wish the hotel kept some change on hand. They did not have the ability to make change to a 10€ bill, let alone a 20€. Given that the bank machines primarily issue 50€ bills and maybe 20€, I would have expected some minimum change at a hotel of this caliber.

The daytime staff was especially good. They had excellent recommendations on tourist sites. Breakfast was plentiful and with many choices —yogurt, pastries, bread, eggs, cheese. The restaurant has an excellent chef! He is very creative and uses Sicilian ingredients in unexpected ways.

It's only just mid-March and so their own restaurant was closed; I'd have liked to have known that in advance.

This is a lovely, stylish and good value hotel with attentive staff. They bent over backwards to help us find a trip to Etna and they were unfailingly helpful.

Bathrooms are getting a bit tired (broken & leaky fixtures). When we told reception that there was a problem with the ‘hot’ water (running yellow and cold), the initial reaction was that’s how water is in Ortigia. It was only the next day at breakfast that they were profusely apologetic for this fault (when there was no hot water for anyone in the building).

Couldn't find anything really bad. Maybe the doors to the rooms could use a few noise-insulating strips. But nothing really tragic.

Super friendly and helpful staff, brilliant sunrise-view from the room, good noise-blocking windows (although not much noise is coming from the small road outside), brilliant location to discover wonderful Ortigia.

Unfortunately I didn't have the same room as the previous evening - although it was cool, spacious and beautifully decorated - there was a slight sewage smell from the bathroom and the toilet seat was a bit broken.

The roof top bar and the interior design features - and most of the staff are wonderful. The room was so quiet and cool - perfect in the hot weather. Large air-conditioned common areas and late check out.
