Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AC not functional as it was April. Walls very thin hence a lot of noise at times. Hotel is very tired but still acceptable.
Very close to city centre, restaurants etc. Clean room. Wifi good. Enjoyed my short stay.

Nothing we didn't like.
The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely terrace at the back to have drinks on which was gorgeous on a sunny evening. Our rooms were at the back of the hotel so it was very quiet even though the hotel is in the middle of the city.

Breakfast had a wide choice. staff are excellent, really helpful location is great, train station a 10 min walk and you can get to a number of different places really easily mini bar prices very reasonable!

Easier access to the terrace for coffee or drinks
Staff exceptionally helpful from reception to housekeeping. Very clean and excellent breakfast. Within easy walk of the river and exiting places to eat and drink. Beautiful decor, lovely atmosphere.

The location is excellent if you want to be near the train station. If you want to stay near Pisa Tower, you need to walk 15-20 minuts.
Breakfast is excellent! Room is very comfortable. Staff is lovely!

Our stay was short as we arrived late but we experienced friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean, a good size and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was self-service with a wide range and a choice of gluten free items too. The hotel also provided an very reasonable costing shuffle service to the airport.

The rooms are not soundproof. I couldn't sleep, I heard every bathroom from others rooms, every man in the hall was very loud .

I wasn’t surprised at the size of my room but there was a slight ‘cobbled together’ feel about it (essential bits of furniture placed in available spots, rather than being there for aesthetic reasons). The room was clean and the bed (which was on wheels, strangely) was comfortable. However, the former was really quite tired in places. The shower leaked onto the tiled floor quite freely and, while this posed no particular problem for me, that could prove hazardous for other guests. In addition, I was near a very open stairwell and noise from people moving around the building (particularly in the earlier part of the morning) was clearly audible. Neighbouring guests’ comings and goings were similarly detectable.
Decent city hotel in a beautiful town. Nice location near the river and within easy walking distance of the leaning tower and busier streets. The room was comfortable and I had a balcony, which was lovely. Excellent WiFi. Spotless bathroom. Professional and helpful staff. In spite of the relatively minor issues flagged below, I’d stay here again.

The coffee from a machine was not great. The safe in the room was not working well. The rooms were not very well sound-proofed.
The breakfast offer was excellent - a good range of cooked dishes and a variety of sweet foods. The hotel is well located, about 10 mins by foot from the central rail station and about another fifteen minutes to the main sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was that the hotel provides a shuttle service to the airport (5 euros per person).

The room was so warm and when we asked for the ac to be turned on we were told it was in winter setting. Doubtful given the radiators were on to throughout the day.

Only down fall was that we couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioning unit so the room very warm during our stay
Lovely little gem of a hotel with very friendly helpful staff with great recommendations of places to eat. Delicious breakfast with plenty of variety which is always a bonus! The hotel is in a great location within a 15 minute walking distance to the leaning tower and cathedral tourist attractions or just a couple of minutes to the main shopping street, lots of restaurants to chose from Would definitely stay here again
