I fall in love with the view from my room. It’s was incredible in the morning to woke up in front of the sea and so romantic in the night. Everything was good. Really kind and professional personal, cleaning sistem.

The room was great with a balcony and sea view. The location was excellent, at the start of the promenade and close to the train station. The staff were generous in upgrading us to a great room.

On the foto we see people sitting on that special “ Balkon” just above the sea. But it was closed for some construction, even nobody was working there. I would have liked to sit there, like on the pic.

It was clean, very nice room with a relatively big bathroom, very quiet.

Tv would come on randomly but we unplugged it because we were from overseas and did not speak Italian! Aircon issue but staff rectified this quickly. Bed was firm and pillows low but had the best nights sleep on both nights so no complaints!

Fantastic location right on the water just at the edge of the main strip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Older property but well maintained. Lift access with no stairs so we’re able to get our heavy suitcases to our room without any lifting which was great. We had a room at the front overlooking the water with a little balcony and the view was stunning.

Bathroom was very small especially the shower. It is a much older place and could stand a face lift but is mainly and clean.

There were mosquitoes in the room. I found the bathroom to be quite small, view from our room were just buildings.

It is well placed in the area with a beautiful view of the sea and the street. Clean and comfortable property. Organized free parking for us. Friendly staff.

I wanted to rent a lounger on the rock platform on my last morning but they didn’t open it until 11 so it wasn’t worth the 15E for an hour.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Loved the beach outside! Amazing view from my balcony.

I didn’t like my room it was tiny,it was absolutely no problem at all they changed it,only down fall with bigger room was a shower over the bath,not great for elderly,

With no fault of the hotel, the private beach was inaccessible due to a local water problem. Parking is very difficult and time consuming to find spaces close to the hotel....or anywhere for that matter. Again, not an issue unique to this hotel.

Waldo and Iris were available at the front desk, throughout the day, to help with all of our questions and concerns. They are both very friendly and professional. The location in Rapallo is excellent for easy access to ferries, restaurants and shopping. I appreciated that, after our first day, I was asked via email what my first impressions were. Given the opportunity, I communicated issues with the pillows and bed firmness They immediately made corrective efforts to fix the issues and our 6 night stay was much more comfortable as a result. I also learned that it was more efficient to go to them at the front desk for any questions/concerns, as they were able to communicate clearly in many languages (for tourists like myself that don't speak or understand Italian), providing a much less frustrating experience for all parties involved.

Quaint old hotel but tired and small rooms. We had to change rooms due to a foul stench, the staff though were very understanding and apologetic and moved us without question.

The AC kept resetting to 22 degrees whenever we left the room which was a bit too cold for us.

Lovely view over the sea. Great location near the city center and the train station. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Our 1st room had a smell in it which was very unpleasant but when we complained we were upgraded to a beautiful sea view room with a private balcony.

Excellent location right on the promenade and easy walking distance from train station even with suitcases. Very nice staff so helpful and friendly and always had a smile for you. Close to all the restaurants.

bit dated interior, furnishings. Needs some money throwing at it. It’s ‘finish’ did not match its location.

The open large hole opposite the hotel and the smell of sewage and stagnant water from same. In the photos on booking.com it showed a lovely roundabout not a big hole in the ground.The works should be done much quicker with added resources and personnel and equipment, seemingly it wont be completed until 2026, it was not mentioned on booking.com.The rest of the town is very nice. We were given an upgrade we were told, but was probably to keep us quite and keep us away from the roadworks and smell of sewage from the big hole. You could not swim in the water beside hotel because the water was gray and horrible looking. Smell of sewage on first floor landing in hotel also. Ants in room but was sorted. Mosquitoes in room when you opened door to veranda, probably from the stagnant water hole across the road. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and would probably go back again, if they have the big hole across from the hotel fixed, as it runs the atmosphere for both visitors and local buisness. All staff were very helpful. Lovely part of Italy and enjoyed our time there.

But the room smells really bad (smells like a public toilette). Maybe the bad smell is due to the current construction near the hotel. Besides, the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. It was like sleeping on a hard rock. There is a beach which is NOT private and the area where you can lay next to the water costs extra (15 euro per person, per day) and you must reserve one day in advance. That was really disappointing considering that I have booked this hotel in order to rest next to the water and I did not expect to pay extra for that .

Staff was really lovely. That was the best. Room is spacious enough. The bathroom was clean and modern. Beautiful view of you have a balcony . There is a small fridge in the room and a decent closet.

The breakfast was not very good and the rooms seemed old.

The view and porch from our seaside room was the best ever. The staff were also very friendly and our room was a great size.
