Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast was limited, and eggs were cold and if you request any type of eggs will be charged. The coffee made by the machine. The size of Superior Double Room is very small only 16-meter square, and we couldn't be able to place our luggage.
I liked the reception of the front desk employees. they were very kinds and helpful. The location was excellent just steps to the main shopping street.

Feel your front desk should position better since everything in hotel layout nicely
Location, simple but nice & neat, less is more concept, very interesting artworks in hotel, breakfast is nice not complicated and staffs are wonderful

Early check-in even at 1 pm is late especially in my opinion when you’re flying from North America and arriving in the early morning. They keep your luggage at the desk but would be nice to rest a little before then. Of course this is not specific to this hotel.
Excellent value for money. Rooms are large with very high ceilings and hardwood floors. They are impeccably clean.

They hotel I ever been that charge 7 Eu for baby bed per night. Which I could not understand why.

The hotel was excellent. If I were pressed to find faults I’d note that the mattresses were a bit firmer than I’m used to and there were very few English TV channels.
Top things about the hotel: 1. The nicest and most helpful staff I’ve ever met at a hotel 2. Great location 3. Excellent breakfast 4. Absolutely spotless 5. Free mini-bar content

The elevator broke down one night, and we had to go to the room on the 3rd floor by the stairs (it's fine, but something worth mentioning for users with limited accessibility) The bed size was a bit small for 2 people (maybe 150cm wide)
Hotel staff are the best! They were happily guiding for restaurants and caffees. The hotel offered free valet parking to the nearby car park (the car park charged money as per their rate) The hotel offered me a free power converter. Room mini bar was free with daily supply. The room had a nespresso machine and a welcome chocolate from venchi. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a free to use coffee machine 24/7. The hotel was like an art exhibition with amazing pieces in the corridors and the staircase. The hotel location is the best with a possibility to reach by car and located in the middle of one of the most important roads in Florence

A classy and tastefully decorated new hotel in a very special location. There are extremely friendly, helpful and solution-oriented employees. Since it is in the center of the city, I was worried about parking, but 25 Euros per day, including valet parking and tax, in front of the hotel is acceptable.

I LOVE THE BREAKFAST ROOM AND EATING ON THE TERRACE THAT HAD HEATERS AND PLASTIC TO KEEP OUT COLD. THE SELECTIONS OF FOOD WERE GOOD AND I APPRECIATED THAT I COULD HAVE EGGS COOKED TO ORDER. ALSO, THE YOUNG WOMAN (BRAZILIAN) WHO WAS THERE EVERY MORNING WAS ALWAYS FRIENDLY BUT PROFESSIONAL WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE.
