Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our room could use a fresh paint, but thats about it.
This was our second time in the same hotel. We love the position and the fact the hotel isnt overpriced during the Salone del mobile week. Breakfasts, which bothered me last time, were greatly improved! Good job.

The only downfall (which wouldn't stop us booking again) was the air con unit wasn't very effective.
Fabulous location. Next to a Metro station. Fantastic value for money. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Fridge & comfy bed. I read the reviews and was a little worried & I needn't be!! The staff were lovely and the breakfast is fantastic!! They even encouraged us to go and help ourselves to breakfast to take away when we needed to be away early.

The staff were kind and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by really good restaurants, it is in a very good neighborhood (bus stations, metro station is very close).

Reception and cleaning staff were superb, surrounded by really good restaurants and only a short walk to the castle grounds, Metro station practically on the doorstep.

Location was good. The rooms were small, but comfortable. Breakfast was not so great, just the same as in many other hotels in Milan. The staff was nice. Thanks for the hospitality.

Acoustic it’s bad, if you have a light sleep could be an assue and the wifi it’s bad sometimes or doesn’t even works, the AC was just working the hot air mode
The room was like in the photos, super comfortable bed, the hotel is a bit far from the center but about 150m have an metro station and about 10 min walk you have the Chinatown neighbourhood with a very nice street and the surroundings you can find other places

The room was a bit small. And the walls needed fresh paint.
It’s clean. Great location near metro station. There’s a very nice restaurant near by. The breakfast was diverse. It’s nice that they offer toiletries and slippers.

Most of the staff doesn’t know how to communicate with the guests. There is a way to say the things which they are not aware of. It is obvious that they are not well educated on behaviour. No politeness at all. Common areas need to be renovated.
The toilets were renovated. The room was clean.

The first room I was assigned was very hot, probably close to 40 C with no way to lower the temperature. I complained and was given another, better room.
Staff was responsive and helpful. The breakfast was good.

During breakfast coffee was very horrible. Italian guest had a coffee with machine other guest had a terrible coffee. It is not standard for 4 star hotel. Room is outdated. Bathroom on not good quality/conditions.

The dining room staff were not very friendly. They were not friendly like the reception staff.
The location was lovely, very near metro and nice restaurants down the streets. The staff at reception were excellent and communicated very well. They were so accommodating, even printed off our boarding passes, and kept our bags for us until late afternoon. Thank you
