Access to the property. It is located almost 50+ meters down from the main road. Therefore, guests have to climb as many as 110 steps from the hotel to reach the nearest access road. Causes inconvenience with the luggage. Guests with health issues to be careful here. Also, car parking is a challenge.

The room temperature was very cold. Lots of steep steps to get to/from the hotel and the man street, making it challenging to tote luggage.

The balcony off the room was very spacious and the view was fantastic.

Minor issues: 1) Limited drawer space for clothes so we didn't unpack the suitcases; 2) Only two electrical outlets in the room, and none near the desk; 3) Pillows not supportive. The only serious negative from our perspective: a lot of steps down/up from the main road. We counted over 100 steps from our room to the road (approximately 30 steps were within the hotel). Not great for someone with knee or mobility issues, or for moving luggage. No formal porter service is available but the owner's son helped carry our luggage up when we departed. Of course, almost anywhere on the Amalfi Coast will have a similar problem with steps.

The ocean view from our room was fantastic. The breakfast buffet (included) was outstanding: cheese, ham, pastries, toast, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, fruit, tea, coffee, juice. The staff was very friendly. Room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Location was convenient to the local bus stop. Lots of flowers and plants inside and out. Beautiful tile floors. Plenty of closet space for hanging clothes. WiFi (included) worked well.

The steps as we are older and the luggage from a long vacation was a little much to get to the hotel. BUT, the manager did have her son come to assist in getting back up the steps (he was tipped).

The view was great from our room. Breakfast was very nice and the manager had it out early for us to meet our time schedule.

The bathroom was poorly ventilated and smelt. The mattress needed replacement and we endured an uncomfortable sleep.

The outdoor terrace was a great size and we enjoyed lovely views over the ocean.

Don’t take to much luggage cause you have to take a lot of stairs to reach the hotel. Parking on the street is very expensive

The male owner was rude and he told us off for being near his day bed at the pool. He was very grumpy and vocal about it.

The views were amazing and the hotel itself was very nice and comfortable. The ladies who run were very nice and helpful with information. The food for breakfast and dinner was very tasty and plentiful. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and our late arrival, still provided us dinner once the dinner service had past. Highly recommended accommodation.

Praiano is a real jewel on The Amalfi Coast. Hotel Bellavista has views to die for, friendly staff who really looked after us, good food all in a great location.

The hotel was easy to find straight down from the busstop.Great location to go to the Amalfi coast. Close to the Paths of the goods.It has a beautiful bay just steps down from the hotel,and it is close to the village beach,small shops and minimarket. Beautiful view from the hotel balcony. Breakfast had the basic things you need. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean.Thanks to them we find a great place from their recommendations to stay in Sant Angelo when we went to Ischia,we had a great stay.

The hotel can be a bit difficult to get to, down a series of steps from the main road, but that is not uncommon for hotels here

It is a beautifully located hotel with amazing views. The rooms were good size and the breakfast was delicious, especially the cake and donuts. Having the pool was perfect too as it is a bit of a trek down to the sea.

We were placed in a room next to the kitchen which was super loud and there was a dogs barking every night inside the hotel

The bed was a bit to soft for my taste and the AC was noisy sometimes, I had to pay attention to put it on silent mode and close the bathroom door.

The view was amazing, very good breakfast moment. The room has a good space and was clean. Location was very good , just in front of the bus stop.

Beautiful location, nice and quiet. Away from the hustle and bustle of Positano and within walking distance of some very good local restaurants. Perfect little room for my fiancé and I for 4 nights. Simple included breakfast (continental) but did the job!

The owner was quite rude to us when we moved a plant at the “ swimming pool” as it was blocking our path ( there are huge plant pots everywhere! On tables, on the hot tub, blocking doors etc) the other staff were lovely. He ranted in Italian , moved the pot back and kept hissing at us from his sun lounger! The evening meal was beyond bad! We sat at our table and was told what it was, courgette and pasta, then aubergine and tomatoes in sauce and chips. We asked if there was another main meal option and were told we could have yesterdays meat which we had…. It was AWFUL, deep fried thin piece of meat in a soggy batter and 5 chips! We both took a mouthful but couldnt eat it. Dessert was melted ice cream that we chose not to drink!

The views were stunning, you won’t find any as nice anywhere. It’s a gorgeous little place The Help yourself Breakfast was a little hit and miss, the fruit wasn’t good but the pastries were and there was a large selection. Staff were lovely and friendly Wine and beer good value! Room basic but clean and painted well.
