I stayed in this hotel many time already when I visited Bologna. Position and comfort of the hotel are great. The restaurant inside the hotel is very good (I tried the Osteria pizzeria at the 2nd floor) For me this hotel is one of the best choice if you stay in Bologna

There was a very strong smell of sewage in the bathroom. We stayed only two nights but the second night it was almost unbearable to use the toilet

The facilities have not been updated in a while. There are some things in the room that are just slightly damaged or cracked from age and use.
Everything in the city is walkable. Very good location.

From a distance, it looks much better and more professional than what it actually is, and this made us a little sad. It was clean and tidy. But really normal. I must say that we went there during a special time when the prices were broken. Otherwise, I can't recommend it at the original price.
It is close to bus station and train station, about 5 minutes. The hotel is located in one of the main streets of Bologna. And from the stairs, the parking lot has easy access to Montagnola Park.

Great location in the centre of the city with lots of restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The dining room is spectacular and the cozy bar a pleasant surprise (didn't eat in here but the food looked good). Super friendly staff.

The design of this building would seem to allow anyone to walk in off the street at night, onto any floor of rooms. Straight up the stairs that are located after the automatic doors off the street, but before the doors into the reception foyer. It seems an insecure design.
Great location both near the station & near the historic centre. It's a classy hotel. Exceptional reception staff. Well organised arrangement to leave bags (for free), allowing sight seeing on the day of check out

Great location, walking distance to shops and Piazza Maggiore. Nicely designed rooms with comfortable beds (our room overlooking the park). Paid parking was available onsite which was very convenient.

Shower is really tiny. Dinner staff was disagreeable, bordering pompous.

Nothing. Everything was great.
The hotel is extremely well located in Bologna's historic center and a short walk from Piazza Maggiore. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was also very spacious and modern. The high ceilings added to the roomy feeling. I didn't experience the street noise some reviewers complained about but I also can sleep through noise easily. The price was honestly amazing for the quality of the space. I didn't go for the breakfast but I had a delicious cream filled croissant and espresso in the morning. Check in and check out was speedy and friendly without any surprises. I would definitely stay here again for future visits.

Found old bottle corks behind the desk, the heating system is very uncomfortable, you can’t turn it down and it’s super hot, bed is too small, check in staff and the gentleman who tried to explain us how to handle the heat need more training
Location, breakfast quality and variety, room amenities, check out staff and breakfast staff were kind and professional.

Our room faced a car park and service area and was very noisy at times. The floors are very very slipping in the whole room and this was dangerous when wet.
Great hotel, great location and very clean. Staff were friendly though there was a lot of confusion about my room mate even though I had told them it was a room for 2 needing 2 beds.

We couldn't sleep. The noise from the avenue was sooud. Cars, trucks, ambulance all night long. Not even with ear plugs
The building is very beautiful and the ceiling is amazing. Perfect location between the train station and the city centre. The staff very friendly and they even upgrade the room. The food at the restaurant, delicious.

Not the best location. It is still 12-13min walk to center.
