Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

relatively good location, as it is close to the airport (7 min drive or 40 min on foot to Terminal 1. staff nice. offered a transfer to the airport, 5 eur per person (for a 5-7 min trip it seems like overpriced)

IsraelThe quality of the breakfast is not sufficient for a 4 star hotel, it is fit for a 2 star hotel. In my opinion the hotel needs a renovation. Today all the hotels have electronic keys and not old fashioned metal ones. We stayed in the hotel in April and at the time, there was a heat wave in Europe. The rooms were hot and stifling but only the heating system was active. When we asked to turn on the AC, we were told it was not possible until the end of the month.
The transportation from the airport to the hotel was fast, convenient and not expensive. The instructions on where to wait for the shuttle were clear and easy to follow. The beds were comfortable and big.

FinlandThe train from Milan main railway station to Malpensa didn´t go that day because of a strike and nobody told us when we were trying to buy the tickets. Only then we were told that we have to take a bus which was very slow and unconfortable. In Malpensa airport the information desk didn´t want to help us reach the shuttle to the hotel, they told it was private so they had nothing to do with it. Very arrogant attitude. We then found the shuttle but it didn´t take us directly to the hotel, they only said they have to drive also to another terminal which was not told in advance.
Nothing special.

IrelandAri con wasn't strong enough/didn't work well so the very hot room made sleeping difficult. Would've loved a lunch time food option. Having come from the airport a small bite to eat was badly needed. Luckily we had the car but had we not we'd have been stuck.
Really convenient stop over to/from airport. Dinner wasn't bad. Free parking.

United KingdomValue for money , helpful staff , most importantly I can’t express the gratitude that I left my mobile in the hotel shuttle . After checkin I realised my mobile is not with me . I called the property, immediately the receptionist called shuttle bus and located the phone and asked me to comedown when I came down the driver was waiting for me to hand over the mobile Gracie

United KingdomChurch bell ringed regularly into the night, right next to the hotel, very disruptive but understandably unavoidable. On return we asked for room on other side of hotel and that was much better. Also air-conditioning had a mind of it's own. In return it was warm weather and the room was too. The cooking function of Aircon kept switching back to heat. Tried many many times. Assumed it's centrally controlled or reliant on all rooms using same function.
Good value, decent breakfast spread. Very nice coffee (received from the staff, not machine)

United States of AmericaIt is an older property, so some things you might expect are basic and not super fabulous, but I cannot complain for the price. The only real complaint I noticed was on the third floor, I pressed the ‘Down’ button on the elevator, and it didn’t seem to work at all, so I just pressed the ‘Up’ button and the elevator arrived. Also, when I arrived at the airport, I was really confused about where to go to get the shuttle bus, but actually it’s not that hard to find the door numbers. But once I found Door 5 and went outside, I called the hotel front desk and no one answered, and then I got a message from the phone company, saying the phone was turned off, ‘possibly’? But then after I arrived at the hotel I told the front desk guy about this and, I called the number again and the desk phone rang, so I don’t know if it was my phone service, or someone just was busy and didn’t answer. So if you’re in that situation, just try calling again. So in the end, upon my arrival to the airport, I had to find the local taxis and get a taxi over, which was 20€, but be aware, there are lines of taxis upstairs by the Arrivals doors, but I don’t know where they go, probably to the City or farther locations. The ‘local taxis’ are downstairs through the tunnel and outside past where you rent rental cars and get on the train. So that was another bunch of confusion for me. But the shuttle back to the airport was perfectly fine because I had gotten on their schedule/list once I arrived at the hotel,
The hotel is very close to the airport and was a very good value for the price. It was very clean. The room looked a bit lived-in on some of the walls (dings from luggage), but the beds were very comfortable and the shower was good. Bathroom very clean. I didn’t seem to be able to adjust the room temperature, but I could open the window for some fresh air. (I was there in April). I don’t know about summer temps, but they claim to have air conditioning. But it was pretty comfortable overall. The breakfast buffet had a lot of offerings. Also, it was very quiet there considering it’s right next to the airport. I never heard anything at all and only saw or heard one helicopter fly overhead in the late morning.

Nice hotel and the room was really clean. The Airport Shuttle was really reasonably priced and very efficient. We had dinner and the was really good, great choice and good value. The staff were lovely and so helpful as I managed to omit to say the booking was for two of us. They sorted this out really quickly.
