The staff is not present at the property at all times which can make it a bit difficult sometimes if you have any requests. Nothing too bad, but it is something to notice. Also there is a little language barrier, but nothing critical.

The property is so much more beautiful than it is in the photos. It’s isolated from its sorroundings, but that makes it very peaceful and nice to enjoy some time off. The place is clean and the communal places are well kept. The cook made us lunch which was absolutely amazing. He was so kind and picked the ingridients fresh from the garden to make a very nice meal. Great price to quality ratio in my opinion. It was exactly how I imagined an agroturismo stay would be.

Internet was non-existent from our room, however, we were able to accomplish a bit of work we had in the main house. The road leading up to the property needs some work.

We loved this property. First of all the history of it! It was like stepping back in time. We received a very warm greating after a long day on the road. Friendly words and something cold to drink. Our room had the most spectacular view and was fitting with the property. Dinner was made and served with a lot of love. The food was fantastic and extremely fair priced. Breakfast the next morning, the same! It was too cool to make use of the pool but it looked lovely. This is a place that will remain in our memories.

I have no complaints about this place. Even though the check out was a little bit early (10.30) we were allowed to stay on the premises and use the pool facilities, so we still had a slow relaxing morning.

Our Ferry to Sicily was delayed by 2 hours and we arrived later than anticipated and also quite late at night, however we were welcomed warmly and taken straight to our table for dinner before check in. They had also planned to bring our dinner to our room should we have arrived after the kitchen closed. This type of kindness makes the visit truly special. We were travelling with our dog and we can say that he was very welcome here, something we never take for granted. The breakfast was fresh and included local fruit, homemade cakes, yogurts, jams, toast, eggs and more.

This location has everything for the perfect vacation: old authentic building feeling like in ancient time, exclusive location high in the mountains, magnificent view, very nice pool, nice personnel, breakfast is very tasty with local products, nice garden. We recommend this hotel for everybody who wants to chill and have exclusive experience in a peaceful environment. We would definitely like to come back!

Perfect authentic getaway from touristy Taormina. It’s close to Celafu. Room was comfortable, food was excellent! We truly enjoyed our stay, it’s a beautiful place in the mountains.

The last bit of road leading up to the hotel is a little bumpy. Our AC was leaking in our room, but it wasn’t really needed anyway. There was a swarm of ants at one point in our hotel room block, but this is to be expected in the middle of a forest and was cleaned up before I knew it. Some parts of the hotel need a bit of a facelift, like some of the glass windows are broken, but again, this is quite a negligible fact

The property is very pretty and unique. The pool is large, the rooms are clean and well-kept. They have fly screens and ACs. The location and views were also lovely. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was glorious and the drinks were well-stocked!

I did request in advance an easy room for my mobility issues bu unfortunately this was not possibles with a walking st stair in the main building and the room supplied - though very clean but mighty challenging to get up the tiled stairs with just my walking stick! - no hand rails and no soft landing places! - bonut hey - we were way out of season (early December) and Stephano explained there wa

The location is amazing. Dinner was brilliant and Antonio and Stefano were very helpful. But the star of the show was the amazing Whiskey the dog of the property which was very patient with our dog and was super friendly with us. The property is ideal for people who love trekking and nature.
