We had terrible weather (which obviously the property can’t control!) so could not have the opportunity to enjoy the beach or the pool during our stay as we were only there for 1 night!

Location was great and it was nice to stay in a proper hotel as we had been at B&B’s for the rest of our stay in Sicily. The room had a beautiful sea view, bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious as well as having a great shower. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was A La Carte and breakfast the next morning was buffet style but all the food choices were very good.

This hotel is quite isolated so there aren't many options nearby to go and eat. We ate at the hotel the first night which was expensive and not that impressive. The next night we walked through hotel La Calette and around to Cefalu (20-25 minutes) and ate at Da Sasa which did good pizza and pasta. This hotel is expensive for what it is, but we had an enjoyable stay. I would recommend taking the train to Cefalu if you are coming from Palermo. Quick, easy and cheap tickets. Take a taxi to the hotel. It will cost you about €12.

I'd read the reviews for Kalura and knew it would be pot luck with the room. Ours was dated, but not bad and was very clean. It suited our family for our 2 night stay. We loved the beach and pool and found the staff kind and attentive. My girls also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the barista was doing good coffee (included in the buffet price), which was a plus.

The room and bathroom felt dated and basic. As was the gym and main reception. For the price this felt like a real miss.

The private beach was amazing, and the views incredible. It felt secret and special.

Not much to complain about..... if anything, one of the girls at the front desk was not overly friendly like our other experiences in Sicily. And lack of soaps/shampoos- easy fix.

We had a beautiful room with balcony overlooking the sea- spectacular views. Perfect way to end our time in Sicily. We had lunch and dinner on the patio which was also spectacular!

The interiors design was a little dated, not luxury at all. Needs money spent to update the interiors.

Great place! There is a magnificent view from the hotel restaurant on the sea. The hotel beach was great, possible to swim by the rocks and enjoy the sun on the sun lounge chairs and sofas in different terraces overlooking the sea. There is a nice offer of activities: massages, yoga class in high season, tennis. They organised a tennis class for me with the instructor and it was great.

Looks a bit dated. The staff is not super friendly. Seems like it’s a place that is used to accommodating large bus groups. Breakfast was hectic too with everything placed in different corners of the hall.

Access to a a private beach downstairs was neat. The pool is also a nice addition. Not too far from the city. It’s an easy 20-30 min walk.

The rooms are a little dated and the gym room was terrible.

Great location - the views were spectacular. The beach/platform was brilliant. Easy access to the water and the bar staff were great. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was of a good quality.

Fantastic views, lovely private beach, great pool, great food in the restaurant and a lovely bar overlooking the sea for pre dinner drinks. Great pool too!
