In the room I was staying in it was kinda smelly with old stuff, problem with current which was luckily managed by the staff in 5 minutes. Pizza rates 7/10.

Very nice staff, lovely smile from the lady at the desk, possibility to order pizza from the restaurant to room, big and free parking, lovely terrace with beatiful views, large space around the hotel, great choice of breakfast (to choose from salt as well as sweet) - high quality. You will not leave in the moring with empty stomach ;)

We were there off season, in march. The apartment was not heated when we arrived.

- Not well equipped kitchen (if you rent apartment with the kitchen you want at least one bigger knife and wine glasses in the wine region, both missing) - Not super clean, the blanket on the bed looked really old and not clean - low quality of food both in restaurant and during breakfast

It was very hard to find, our GPS sent us to 3 different properties before we found it (probs our bad) but suggest you double check the address. The breakfast was OK but not the best we’ve had on our trip.

Very scenic location, close to Siena. Clean facilities with a bit of Italian charm. Nice spot to stop if travelling between Rome and Florence.

Overall it was a nice villa with beautiful surroundings. We've checked in late in the evening and I wanted to have a tea and they said there was a kitchen, where there was tea, in our apartment but I was not allowed to take a tea bag. That was rude and unexpected.

Rooms were big (we booked 5 rooms) but sad. Few pictures, no mirror, bad curtains, all impersonal. The "touch of class" was totally missing. In some rooms the bathroom was very small. Breakfast good, but coffee and cappuccino from machine were horrible. I booked 5 rooms, 3 as double and 2 as DUS. When booking and during check-in, I asked for having the smallest rooms as DUS (the cost was lower than double), and the lady at the reception did exactly the contrary!

The location is wonderful. The property is potentially very good but there are different things that should be improved. The rate value for money is good

Standard room is pretty plain. If you can, get the small suite--it is terrific.

Breakfast wasn't worth paying extra. It was impossible to walk around - the only way out was a very curvy road without a sidewalk that felt dangerous.

The place and views were really beautiful. The accommodation is near all of Tuscany's most visited sights. But the car is of course a must.

The room was not well ventilated and the air conditioning had been turned off even though the weather was still very warm. The layout of the room was poor and there was a pillar in the middle of the room. There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. There appears to be a toilet smell coming into the bedroom from the bathroom as the toilet backs on to the bed area. Toilet seat was loose and needed fixing. Bathroom had little space to put things. It’s a good idea to avoid the restaurant in the evening. We found the staff complacent and unwilling to change their arrangements to better accommodate you, ie to seat you inside at empty tables when it got too cold outside . The food service was slow and the meals were below expectation when they arrived. It is a drive to dine elsewhere in the evening so the restaurant has a captive audience.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful when needed. The room was very quiet when closed up but faced the driveway not the view of the valley which was beautiful. Our room had a outdoor sitting area which was great since the room had no sitting area. Buffet continental breakfast was average.

The staff was so kind and helpful. Very tranquil setting. One of the best breakfasts I have seen in Italy yet. Great variety and quality. The young man attending the dining room was very efficient , not leaving dirty tables for a minute. Room was large and very clean.

Old but good enough

The room was old but everything worked and was nice for a vacation, Not to fancy of a hotel but the location is amazing and the pool and restaurant were great. Would go there again.

The only thing that bothered us was the smoking in the outdoor restaurant area. It takes away from the wonderful food that is served.

Loved the view from our apartment and the facility. We had privacy and quiet. The young lady at the front desk (Eliana?) was exceptional with her friendly positive energy and helpful information. Terrific experience in the heart of Tuscany!

We were told during checkin that reservations at the restaurant were recommended. I may have mistaken this for the fact that it was due to the restaurant on site getting busy. Our first night we noticed the restaurant seating area was only about half occupied. While out in San Gimignano on day 2 we tried to look up the restaurant online but could not find details. I think reservations may have been needed at the front desk -- it wasn't very clear.. Since that was the case we decided to risk it that evening and show up - as once again the restaurant was only half full. When we got there we were turned away because we didn't have reservations. I awkwardly glanced around at the half empty dining area and the waitress told us it that reservations were needed because they were short staffed and they couldn't handle any more personnel than were seated. I would not have minded waiting and understood slow service, but being turned away was a bit disappointing. It may have been too much ASSuming on our part - but just something to note, take the reservation recommendation seriously - even if the dining area is obviously not full :).

The stay itself was amazing. The pool has wonderful views of the Tuscan country side. A short 20 minute drive from historic Siena made this an overall very nice stay. The breakfast was fantastic and the location was overall amazing. We had plans in Siena and San Gimignano and this was a perfect spot for a home base. You will need a car though!

Breakfast is a weak point of this hotel. For 2 days there were those same problems. Eggs were burned and floaded with oil. For a drink, you could use only plastic cups most of the time. There were two girls trying to keep everything filled and clean and they were truly doing their best, but had a horrible system to do it. Every time, someone took for example 3 slices of cheese, girl came, took plate with cheese and took it back to refill it. But meanwhile another 3 people took some ham, some juice etc. This means that girls were running back and forward, part of the selection was unawaible all the time and people were just waiting. Glasses and plates were very similar problem. If you wanted glass instead of plastic cup, you had to wait, but when staff brings glasses, there were just 3 pieces.

Very nice location few minutes by car from Siena. Great views.
