There was not one thing we did not like about this place!

Our host was exceptional! Kind and patient in guiding us through the town to park, etc. Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Great shower! Nice breakfast next door at a cute restaurant.

The stairs were a bit steep…..especially carrying up luggage.

Location was perfect. Just a few minutes from the Duomo. Serina was so welcoming and helpful with any questions we had.

Could have done with a bit more direction with what to do at breakfast- having no Italian was a slight problem. But breakfast was tasty and the coffee was great.

La Magnolia was an absolute gem for our visit to Orvieto. Our room was beyond expectations! It was so spacious and charming and had a lovely patio for having wine or relaxing. The location is perfection with easy access to everything in the heart of beautiful Orvieto. Breakfast at the family cafe each morning was a treasure with amazing coffee and house made cakes. Serena was a delight and so helpful with restaurant recommendations and helping with anything we needed. We will always remember our stay at La Magnolia and hope to return in the future.

The bed was not firm, clearly an older mattress. I have issues with back and sciatica and the bed further agitated it. And, disappointing breakfast.

Character, washer, location, hostess

I loved the character of the room and I was absolutely thrilled when I saw the washer just steps outside my door. They even offered to wash it! Also, I had a major problem my shoulder while there and the housekeeper helped me down the 12-15 steps. Ideally located and very safe

Had a fantastic stay at this place! Super comfortable bed, clean and well put together room, easy check in, friendly and responsive staff. Sad I didn’t have time to stay longer but will certainly book here again on my next visit.

We were expecting a twin-bedded room but were upgraded to a charming, tastefully decorated and fully equpped apartment with not one but two little terraces. It was perfect!!! The owner of the property was delightful and breakfast, served at the café next door, was delicious

The owner was very kind and invited me to have breakfast, even though I had not paid for that in my reservation. However, she didn’t tell me how to get to the breakfast area, so I didn’t take advantage of her kindness.

The room was lovely, as was the bathroom. The bead was very comfy. The design of the room was pretty, and I loved the painting on the ceiling.

The only drawback is that there is a long and steep staircase at the entrance and no elevator.

We had a very nice suite. Serena and Caterina were kind and helpful. And there was a cat named Nero who was very friendly!

Just a classic Italian breakfast (croissant-coffee-juice). However, there are many options for a "salty" breakfast nearby (our tip: Montanucci, 19 Corso Cavour, 240m).

Great location in the historic center, authentic house and room. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Reserved parking not far, on Piazza Duomo (6EUR/day). Amazing atmosphere.

We requested an extra bed, as we had a baby and once we arrived it was not ready! The owner's communication is not the best, the wifi password was not anywhere in the room, we asked for it and they replied after 24hours...connection is not strong in Orvieto to use your phone mobile data The building is historical, beautiful and has a very loooooooooong stairs, so if you have big luggages or baby stroller "good luck"

Everything, we loved La Magnolia and we loved Orvieto. Our apartment had recently been renovated and has some amazing features, the Cathedral is represented in the wonderful bedhead and the tiles in the bathroom. The apartment was very comfortable, in midwinter it was warm, sunny and spacious. There were many clever design features including a kitchen area with retro appliances and it was so nice to come back to and look out the window at their mother's magnolia tree after which the hotel is named. I've never uploaded photos before so these were taken for family.
