Although the property is located in an excellent neighborhood within Meta, going to Sorrento (which you probably do everyday) takes a little longer than we thought. Station is about 10 mins walk mostly uphill. Bus stop is close, but buses are every 15 min. A suggestion: it might be good idea for the host to leave at least a bottle of water in the room as a welcome drink - for guests especially coming by long overseas flights, it might be very helpful

Really kind host and the location is perfect. It's located 10/15 minutes by foot from the beach and 5/10 minutes from the subway. The hotel has a rooftop with a good view and the host has a lot of good recommendations.

Close to the train station and beach, quite spacious compare to many European rooms, have everything you need in the house, staffs are nice and quick to respond, great breakfast!

The place is awesome. It’s very clean and very well located. You’re only 10 min walking from the train station and from the port of Piano do Sorrento, where daily boat tours from Lasercapri leaves to Capri, Positano and Amalfi for a reasonable price (you definitely don’t need a car if you’re staying at La Pennichella). Since the place is also a short walk (10 min) from the Meta beach, we enjoyed our evenings there and had dinner in restaurants around). We also loved the terrace. It has a great view of the beach and the sunset from there is just beautiful. Since our arrival until our check out, Carlo was very friendly and helpful.

Varying Wi-Fi connection and challenging to find a suitable workspace. But this is solely if you need to do some work, otherwise a perfect place to stay for vacation, and it is not really expected. Would absolutely recommend anyways.

This was honestly such a lovely visit. It really exceeded our expectations. The little town of Meta was wonderful and I hugely recommend this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate to ask questions, they will help you. The hotel offers amazing views from the terrace and breakfasts in their garden were amazing. If you want to visit Amalfi Coast, Capri but do not want to pay high prices, this is your destination! :)

wowza! we loved this beautiful large hosted villa in the very best location ever - close to train and beach. the host was fantastic- giving us a sweet breakfast in a lovely garden every morning and gave us great tips to enjoy our time. our spacious apartment had everything we needed and was just right. the huge rooftop deck was great to relax on and take in 360 out of this world views.

Room is normal, clean. There is a lift in it. They have a roof terrace with breathtaking view with a lot of places to sit and chill!!! After a day it is amazing!!! Owner is very helphul and nice!!!! There is no reception all day, you have to tell him your arrival-departure time and he is always available on phone!! You get a key and then you are free. From Circumvesuviana ca. 8 minutes on foot. From station turn right and immediately there is a little gateway (with lift). Than straight. For b&b it a very good choice to travel to Sorrento, Amalfi, Capry, Pompei.

Our host was so lovely. We were originally planning to use this location to travel to and from Sorrento, but discovered that Meta is a beautiful location in and of itself, more so than Sorrento, which is overrun with tourists.

The property was very cosy and clean. We really enjoyed the terrace on the roof, view was excellent. The location of the place was very good, everything that we needed was reachable on foot. The staff was so friendly and helpful, it felt like we were visiting a friend. They gave good recommendations what to visit and where to eat. After the check-out we wanted to go to the beach and they let us leave our bags there to make our beach day more comfortable.

Our room was in the roof by the terrace. There were porthole style windows to the terrace which had no coverings, which meant in the morning there was quite a bit of light.

Lovely and accommodating owner. Nicely situated between the train station and the beach. Views from the rooftop terrace were nice.
