The restaurant and bar were closed, it would have been nice to have had a drink on the roof terrace which was also closed some of the time. The well-being centre is being re-furnished, so there was nothing in the hotel to remain and relax, you had to go out. The shower was complicated and it was difficult to turn the knobs to take advantage of the jacuzzi system.

Perfect location for a beautiful view and just out of the centre so less noisy and crowded, yet everything within easy reach. Breakfast was ample and fresh, with a variety of savouries and sweets. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room a nice size, comfortable large bed. We had a good sea view,

The hotel's restaurant was not available for dinners. The shower head in our bedroom was broken and you couldn't stand under it - but I think that will be fixed by the time folk read this review.

The staff (at Reception and in the dining room) were professional and friendly. The hotel was located near a stop for the Siracusa Hop-on-Hop-off bus and that was a real plus point.

The hotel is located right on the water, with a 5 minute flat walk to the swimming platform and divine turquoise clear water. It is charming, a little old fashioned but I love the vibe. It is a short walk to all the restaurants and Baroque squares. Very convenient

Most wonderful staff, incredibly kind to us and very helpful in explaining directions, helping us to navigate Ortigia and wider Syracuse. WiFi was not great. Advertised roof top garden was misleading, wasn’t really a garden it anywhere to sit.

Staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly, food was fine for a light breakfast; pastries great. Location was good, easy walk to main areas, restaurants and bars. Also close to the ocean if you want to have some beach time.

Although the room in front had a nice Seaview, it was very small and cramped, and the larger room had some maintenance issues such as the front window could not be opened and the were splinters on the hardwood floor near the bathroom which could be harmful with bare feet - these items should have been addressed in between guests! And we had specifically asked to be on the top floor, but it could not be arranged.

The tv did not have any English language news channels. The Wi-Fi internet was slow and sometimes not working. We checked out early (06:00) and the credit card system was not working and we had to write our cc number on the reservation to be processed later. Two cards were tried and both did not work; however, the cards worked several hours later during our travel.

Excellent location, good breakfast Room os comfortable with a beautiful sea view. No parking, but if you are lucky you can find some on the street, or for 20e/day in a local garage, everything taken care by the staff (Francheska). Would stay again

The hotel took us by surprise, Francesca and her colleagues were unbelievably helpful, nothing was a problem, the girl herself is a Trojan. The hotel is the best placed hotel in Siracusa, we looked down at the best swimming spot there is. I would come back for the hotel and where is it, but the staff, best ever! Thank you
