What a beautiful place to stay ! Tuscan style house- Very close to historical towns! We met a very friendly host - Francesca , who recommended what to do around, best historical places and towns to visit - what a treat! Accommodation- was great, very clean: we have standard room, but big enough for our 4 suitcases, Comfortable bed, crispy clean bedsheets, good size bathroom. Outside of the room - there’s little kitchenette with hot water , teas/ coffee, which was very handy . Breakfast was amazing- homemade and delicious, great variety of different things. Also there’s option to dine in as well . In the evening- you can sit next to fireplace, very cosy and warm! Overall , our stay - was amazing , feels like you are visiting a family- would highly recommend this place, and looking forward to stay there again !

We absolutely loved this hotel! It’s in such a beautiful location beyond description! The owner Francesca and her Mom were welcoming like a family, and the dinners and breakfasts they cook are immensely delicious!

The farmhouse was exceptionally well furnished, yet retaining an authentic atmosphere. The grounds were delightful. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and the evening meals were delicious.

Beautiful property. So well cared for and maintained. Loved everything about it. Welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. We had dinner on-site which was delicious and the dining room is so thoughtfully styled. Comfortable bed, lovely sheets, clean and beautifully presented.

The only thing we didn't like was leaving.

Special place. Pulling in we felt immediately relaxed and welcomed. The entire hardworking host family made us feel at home and quickly oriented us to our stay in Pitigliano. Francesca recommended sites and hikes and we were off equipped with a local map. Dinners were something special in the authentic Tuscan dining room with fresh home cooked meals, wonderful wine and a little Limoncello. This was a highlight of our trip.

I wished that I lived closer.

The property was beautiful. The outside setting was very comfortable and relaxing after a day of visiting local areas and towns. The breakfast was not a buffet but you could select items off menu. They offered home made pasta and fresh vegetables for evening dinners that were absolutely delicious. I felt like we were eating in a 5* restaurant. We especially fell in love with Constantino, the Arabian stallion that greeted us every time he saw us at the fence! Thanks to Francesca who was wonderful host! We will be back!

We were treated as part of the family, Francesca, her mother and father made us very welcome. The breakfasts and evening meals were exceptional. All quality local produce, prepared to perfection. When we in the area again, we will definitely return to Agriturismo Locanda Pantanello! Car was safe with plenty of space

The location was nice, close to pitigliano but quiet. The breakfast was very good. We had dinner one night and it was amazing, one of the best meals we had in Tuscany.

Francesca was a delight, always happy to help and ensured we got to see the best sights in and around Pitigliano, which we thought was - together with Cortona - the most beautiful village we saw in all of Tuscany.

We had an amazing stay at this property - it was only one night but Francesca was so lovely and accomodating. The meal that we had for dinner was the best meal we had in Italy and the wine was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend for anyone travelling through Tuscany.

Our host,Francesca was excellent and she ensured our stay was of the highest quality. Evening dinners were prepared by Maremma, Francesca’s mother, and all her Tuscan dishes were very tasty indeed. There was a very good selection at breakfast.

The 'Locanda' (Inn) was excellent in all ways. Clean, beautifully designed in true Tuscan tradition, the grounds were lush and perfectly groomed. The meals were lovingly prepared by Moreno Mom). HOWEVER, THE BEST PART WAS THE FAMILY: MORENO, PIETRO AND THE LOVELY FRANCESCA. 😍 They were the friendliest, warmest folks we have ever met, anywhere and fortunately, they caught my sense of humor and we had a ball with them. We will always remember them with great fondness. The area, of course, was wonderful with very interesting Pitigliano close by.
