Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWould be better if the room was cleaned every other day at least as we had to request for the rubbish to be collected as there were 3 of us. They agreed though which was good.
Proximity to places of interest, train station, groceries and restaurants. Very very central and you can just walk every where. Staff were accommodating and helpful. Room is clean and tidy. There is a lift which is great esp if you have a big luggage.

ChileThe bathroom would get very wet with the steam from the shower, and it had some mold spots.
This is just what we needed! Great location and value, and it had a lift available to help getting our suitcases to our room. It had a mini fridge that we used to keep our water bottles cold, and they provided us with earplugs to use at night when the tram would pass by the street.

It's only a few steps away from Termini. The reception guy was super helpful. We reached at 9:00am and could leave our luggage with him. Check in and check out was smooth. Room size was good.

AustraliaThe accommodation was great but wouldn't walk around the area alone.
Great size room with a great bathroom. Room had fridge, tv, Aircon, hair dryer and good size wardrobe. Lovely communal rooftop garden terrace to enjoy some sun and relaxation. Very close to main station. A great place to stay.

AustraliaThe property has a tram line next to it on two sides. They stop between midnight and 5:30 am and only make a distant rumble, but would disturb those seeking silence for sleeping. We were fine with it as there was no other traffic
Great location within 2 minutes of Hop on Hop off bus and 5 min to Rome Termini. Safe part of town.

JordanRooms are cleaned on the 3rd day, which we didn’t mind much, & the AC was loud, but otherwise it was great!
I loved the design of the rooms, small but had everything, and modern and clean. There was a mini fridge and water kettle, and there was a lift too. Everything was controlled by a keypad code so very safe, and it was literally down the street from Termini which was a great advantage, and a short walk from a lot of major attractions such as Trevi, Colosseum, and Santa Maria Maggiore. There’s also a small terrace we could use, with a coffee machine and microwave, very thoughtful! I highly recommend it!

MoldovaIt would be nice to do some maintenance
We got very clear instructions how to self check-in. Room was big enough for 3 of us. Pretty clean , but a little out-dated. I liked that host provides some tea, coffee and water, an even some ear-plugs( which we didn’t need) location is very close to Termini, so if you have an early flight it’s very convinient

FinlandThey don’t clean the rooms nor change the towels etc. It’s pretty unclean near the Termini station and people around the station - well, you should keep your eye on them.
Situation near to Termini was good for us as our real destinations were elsewere. Enough place to put your suitcases and things on places. Outdoor terrace was nice but pretty hot.

GreeceWe would prefer the room to be cleaned more often (our room was cleaned the 4th day). The wifi didn't have good reception.
The room was clean and decent. The location was near termini, 2 minutes by foot. The price was reasonable compared to other places in the city.

LithuaniaThe leather on the bed frame was seemingly worn, the textile piece on the bed as accessory was clean though it had old stains, the AC didn't work properly (blown too cold air)
Friendly staff, convenient location and possibility to go to terrace in the evening was very nice, all in all pretty good experience.

IndiaGreat location but a bit noisy as it’s very close to the tram stop and busy city streets. But the windows were good so once closed most of the noise was blocked out. Overall a good stay if you are in Rome for a few days only and want to cover most of the places by foot.

United KingdomI had to check in prior to arriving and that website could do with updating, when I had to enter my date of birth I couldn’t just type it in, I had to go back 67 years month by month which is far too drawn out then I had to do it again for my husband, would be much better if you could type it in. I loved the history but did find the City very noisy and not very clean, but that’s nothing to do with Manin suites and people were very friendly and helpful.
We didn’t book breakfast so no comment. The room was clean, tidy and lovely and warm which was a major bonus seeing as the weather was cold, it was also fairly easy walking distance from most of the sites that we wanted to see and a lot of restaurants nearby. Even though it was in a busy street it wasn’t too noisy. One major bonus only 2 minutes walk from train station.
