The location is exceptional. You're 10 minutes away from the Vatican, if you're a keen walker, as we are, you can walk to all the landmarks without ever having to use public transport or taxi. The neighborhood is safe, the building amazing. The room was cleaned every day and spotless and it was functional. Ovidio, our host, is extremely discreet and helpful. He will answer any questions or queries you have. I believe it is the best value for money guesthouse in Rome and if we ever go back to Rome no doubt we'll stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Marta Guest House, location was very central and well connected. You can easily get about all the key locations in Rome by foot from the hotel. The host was also very kind and always ready to help and share which we really appreciated. We will stay here again the next time we are back in Rome! 😊

Really good value for money. Helpful and friendly staff who are always on site. The building feels really secure. It is in a great location - not far from a metro stop and walkable from the main centre (I was walking alone and felt safe to do this in the evening). Room is really comfortable with lovely decor. Really pleased I booked to stay here and would highly recommend you do too!

The location is amazing, very close to both the Vatican and the city centre. There are a ton of public transportation options very close by and you can even buy the tickets from the hosts. The room was cozy and clean. Check in is really simple as there is a gate code, so you are free to come and go as you please. Ovidio and the guys truly went out of their way to make us feel at home and helped us with all our questions. 10/10 would recommend, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic location only 10 minutes walk from the Vatican but in a really quiet location. Air con and fridge in room and very good security to access building. Host was very helpful with directions to metro and bus stops and the recommendation to the local trattoria was excellent.

This is highly subjective, but the bed was a little too firm for my taste (and old bones). I also would have liked a larger table for eating and laptopping.

Exceptionally kind and informative staff, the type every hospitality business wishes they had. Marta's is an old-school Roman guest house, exceptionally clean, quiet, safe and with a fabulous location. It is not pretentious, so do not expect the Four Seasons, or champagne on a beer budget. It is one of the most affordable properties in central Rome. Marta's is quaint, but homey and comfortable. The 7-euro shuttle to the airport is within feet of the property and many of the attractions in the city are a pleasant walking away. Restaurants, cafes, bars and groceries are within the immediate area. Marta's in my new 'home in Rome".

Hosts were extra helpful in recommending transportation from the airport to the hotel. They gave us a detailed map and help finding delicious food. Location was ideal for walking to all the important sights in historic Rome.

The room could use some renovations, but it was definitely clean. If you have trouble sleeping, pay attention that the walls seem to be very thin and you can hear your neighbors.

Almost everything went well, the staff is really friendly and helpful. We managed to get around the city with their help, got a few recommendations and useful advice. The location is super central, we walked almost everywhere (10-15 minutes distance to almost all major attractions - Vatican, Fontana, Spanish steps. Colosseum is a bit further, but we also enjoyed the walk there, as Rome is beautiful)

My room could have done with some small renovations (there were some stains on the walls for instance). Besides this the property is a little noisy, and there was no good view outside (the window opened onto a ventilation shaft, so there was no natural light).

Very friendly and helpful staff, who were always helpful when giving suggestions for sightseeing or restaurants. The location is also great, in a very local area away from the hectic center, but still close enough to reach the important sights easily.

Bathroom could have been cleaner and a few mosquitoes as room cleaners would open windows each day. Breakfast is a coupon for croissant and coffee at local Cafe, not great service but no fault of hotel.

I think the walls of the building are relatively thin as we heard some of the neighbours during the night. But this was a minor inconvenience and didn't really affect our stay.

The room was located in a very nice building and the location was excellent. It was good value for money, and, although not very big, it was more than good enough for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room we booked had a small portable AC unit which we didn't use much as there was a ceiling fan which did a pretty good job in cooling us down, especially during the night. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Overal, a nice stay and good value for money.

Another excellent stay in this cozy, budget-priced guesthouse. Outstanding customer care for guests from this hardworking team. They make you feel like part of the family. Old-world charming decor in the rooms. Super convenient location in Prati. Easy access to all the sights. Happy that I returned this year, I will be back again for another stay.
