the room was not very clean, we found pubic hairs on the toilet and bidet towels. We found our room full of water the first evening because the fridge was leaking.

Teresa was a fantastic hostess and provided superb home cooked foods along with quince juice on our arrival. Most unexpected but a very pleasant surprise. The room was clean and comfortable with great outdoor areas for cooking etc. Also provided us with the Otranto Card which gave discounts to some places such as the castle. A great place to stop off in a quiet area on a very beautiful coastline near Otranto.

Hospitality was great, especialy Nonna Teresa was great, food was excellente everyday with fresh juice and everything else was fresh and really good. Room was cleand every day. The garden was great too and the location perfect if you plan to travle round in Puglia

I specified two separate beds when booking, and this was confirmed. Despite this, we were initially brought to a room with just a double bed, and it was also less attractive than the room we were subsequently given. This may just have been a misunderstanding. Because we were the only guests for much of the time, perhaps the place lacked a bit of atmosphere.

Outstanding hospitality, great breakfast, and a very satisfactory room in a location with a lot of peace and quiet. Having said that, we seemed to be the only guests during a lot of our stay.

A perfect place for many reasons, but mostly for la grande Teresa, the owner. She does this with passion and strength, it is quite incredible. The breakfast is all from fresh products, made by Teresa,and simply huge and delicious. Teresa and her team are always present and kind. We stayed on the patio in the evening to have dinner (we had brought our own tomatoes and mozzarella) and Teresa kept bringing us homemade food for us to taste as well as limoncello. This is the highlight of our vacation and we regret not staying longer. Grazie per tutti !!!

We loved everything.

Gorgeous spot in the country with views of the sea. Warm hosts, who plied us with amazing home cooked food (fruit and veggies from the garden and an incredible variety of delicious baked goods plus fresh juice). A 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the sea at the little town of Porto Badisco. There are many ancient towers and caves to hike to in the vicinity.

We had a warm welcome. To be honest I have never been welcomed by hosts in such a friendly way. The villa has its unique style. We enjoyed our time in the lounge area. Breakfast was delicious. Served with a local and home-made products (fresh juices are fantastic). I strongly recommend to have a stay with those wonderful people!

The whole experience had an authentic feel to it. Very warm welcome from great hosts (and the dogs!). They gave great advice for meals in the local area and things to do in Otranto. We enjoyed the break in such a quiet and relaxing place, which was only 15 mins drive from the town. Room was simple, but comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the range of relaxing chairs and hammocks outside.

We stayed there for one night on a family trip and the place was perfect. Nice countryside farm. The staff was very kind and the gave as an exceptional welcome with cakes and coffee. There were beautiful surroundings and many things to do with children, even to see some local farm animals like puppies and baby chicken. About 1 km there is a very unturisty little (take my word) beach. There are also great and cheap restaurants in vicinity (by car).

We had a disagreement with the owner since we received different room information from Booking. We thought we booked the larger room as it was stated 1 double bed + 2 single beds but according to the hotel’s information we booked the 1 double + 1 single bed. After a longer discussion using Italian/English google translate (English is not widely spoken in Puglia), the hotel agreed to give us the larger room at no additional cost. This was a nice gesture, however throughout the rest of our stay some of the members of the staff seemed to find it hard to hide that they we very annoyed. The farm dogs were cute and the most memorable parts of our stay but disappointedly, they barked sometimes in the middle of the night. There is not so much to the exterior - the pictures look better than the reality.

The location was quiet and rural but still a short drive from town and the nearest eatery. The larger room is fresh and large enough for a family of four. Good standard. The breakfast contained many nice local specialties. Most of the staff were very nice.
