눉Simply no feeling of welcome, this place is in principle a restaurant, I would only sleep there in case the dinner went on for too long and I had too much wine. The room was made out of what had to previously be a cellar, so humid that everything in it including bed and covers felt like they were literally wet. The breakfast (the story): when arriving (with difficulty, since the place is in the middle of nowhere and hidden in the woods) to the place, we went to what seemed the only entrance hopIng to find the reception; no reception existing instead and only restaurant room where we are taken to the room by the owner. The room is reachable from outside and refitted from what must've been an older storage room of the mill: a table is directly in front of the entrance with a few things on it. At my asking "how will it work with breakfast?" (I was sure that it would have been organized in the restaurant room) the owner replied in a confusing way; only during dinner did we realize, asking the waiter, that what laid on the table in the room WAS the breakfast included in the price! A few biscuits laying in the open air, 3 pears, 2 plums, a few industrially produced jams and a bag each of industrially confectioned rusks; coffe, in case we wanted it, was there in powder and we would have had to make it ourselves. No comment: I have never experienced anything so low level and with poor service. The location: immersed (or better said lost) in the woods. Gps (including Google maps!) would find an entrance that we were then told not being the right one by the owner, which again confusingly tries to explain how to reach the right one; luckily I found a person walking the dog in a nearby road who was kind enough to explain. The place almost has no signalization. You are simply expected to be able to find it. It is literally in the woods, better if you have an off road vehicle.
눇Unfortunately not much. The dinner at the restaurant was ok, even though advertised as amazing because attuned to Slow Food principles and ingredients, Burt portions were embarrassingly small and overpriced.
