Little space in showers and a bit inconvenient to place clothes while showering as they can become wet. No holders for personal belongings inside the shower stall.

Excellent location, 3 minutes walk from the tram station that connects directly to the main bus station! Friendly personnel, free food for basic needs which decreases travel expenses drastically if you are on a budget!

Perfect location and very good price/quality ratio, comparing other places in Florence that are just so expensive. I liked that they provided some snacks and tea/coffee in the kitchen, the facilities were clean and the bed was quite comfy

Only 3 bathrooms for all the guests, in the morning you have to wait a little longer haha. The beds are really small, but you can't expect more for the price.

The kitchen has everything you need for you, pasta, coffee, juice. Really nice!

The ground floor is cold and humid. Heater didn’t work well during the days I stayed. I have to go out more frequent to warm up myself by walking.

The locker is far from my bed and not easy to access due to the space. The power point for charging the phone etc doesn't support my adapter well. No shelf to hold the devices when charging. The shower rose was broken and leaking.

I was impressed when I was served with a cup of coffee and biscuits on arrival after given me a warm welcome and help with my luggage into the storage room. No hostel has done this! Abundant of free food to help ourselves for breakfast.

Only thing was feeling rushed while in the kitchen when the cleaner came around but I understand that they have a job to do so don’t let that put you off this hostel at all!

Absolute favourite hostel so far! So close to station and main attractions in Florence, no bunk buds in female dorm as you get to sleep on “your own” bed, everything is always super clean. Large amount of free foods; bread, jam, milk, juice, yogurt, pasta, pasta sauces, cereal, tea, coffee, biscuits and croissants. The bathroom also has free shampoo and body wash! The female dorm was in a separate building to the main reception area and is like a female only apartment in a way with 3 female only rooms on the first floor, three showers, two bathrooms and a kitchen to share.

They seemed to battling some mold in the bathrooms, but this is understandable due to the climate and age of the building. There were multiple notes for guests on how to reduce it (such as leaving the window open to get some circulation) but I feel like some guests didn't do this. Staff were actively working on improving the situation. While it's great the kitchen is stocked with food, there wasn't much in the way of cutlery. I get the impression it used to be, but guests may have taken them. Just something to keep in mind.

Staff were very accommodating! I stayed a few nights and was able to arrange a late check in. Staff left lots of information for me when I got in, which is always helpful. I stayed in the female dorms which was a great set up. It is a separate apartment with about 3 bedrooms for female dorms (mine was a 4-bed), a kitchen, and two bathrooms. One bathroom was a regular bathroom with a shower. The second was converted to be more communal. There was a separate room with a toilet and sink, two shower stalls with doors, and a sink in the main area. It's a great way to let multiple people use the same bathroom with enough privacy. Bathrooms were cleaned well by staff. Towels and shampoo were provided, which is a really nice touch for a hostel. The room was great. No bunkbeds in my room and the beds were placed with headboards together so there was some privacy. Each had a light and outlet, which is great. A big locker for each person, though unfortunately with the layout of the room one person got the bed right next to the lockers. Beds were comfy, not much street noise. Location was great. It is near the train station and at the end of a fairly busy street. It was safe to walk back at night. Keycode entry for the building and the apartment. Rooms themselves did not have locks but it felt secure enough. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast items and supplies to make pasta, which is awesome at this price point.

Kitchen is small and doesn't have some stuff (like cutting board). No common area other than a small outside terrace which is too cold at nights, when we were eating dinner.

Staff was extremely nice and especially the one that was there when we checked in around 11am. She offered to give us a map and walk us through the key points around the city. The free food (pasta and tomato sauce for dinner and eggs and some juice for breakfast) was an extremely nice touch, especially for the price of the hostel.

There's two toilets in the women's section, which is perfectly fine "if" everyone doesn't need to use them at the same time -- so, be organized, esp in the morning, if you need to race to catch a train or head to the Uffizi early! (My mistake)... There's a series of access codes you need to get into the main building & the women's area -- again, just be organized. Plugs are at the feet of the bed, which didn't seem logical to me -- no curtains, but the room divider helped. None of these things are negative comments, more that I myself needed to make sure "I" was organized!

A simple but welcoming hostel -- I was quite surprised. Twin beds were so very comfy & clean -- 2 locker spaces, room divider, plugs for recharging -- bathroom down the hall was modern & kept very clean -- the kitchen was really stocked with breakfast food !!!!! Kitchen has good cooking facilities for simple things. Hostel is very close to the train station (5-min walk) down a quiet street -- a very easy walk to the Duomo area -- I felt very safe. Could leave luggage before & after. The staff working there were very kind & sweet & caring & charming -- I would Most Def recommend & I would stay there again -- it's esp good for quick weekend visits to Florence when you need direct access to the main station. The women's section is clearly divided from the male section. The hostel itself is a pleasant quiet oasis .... could work well for someone who is there for a bit longer than a few days, esp with the kitchen...
