Hotel becomes quite dated, internet wifi is not sufficent, rooms were quite warm because no AC available yet.

We spend many times in Palazzo as our HQ is in Livorno, the hotel/views/location is excellent, rooms spacious and comfortable.

Long walk to/from town, mostly uphill coming back. Ran out of breakfast fare on last morning. Otherwise all fine

Breakfast was limited for the price charged, not enough tourist information for local or distant visits, always needed to ask. Parking on site was very expensive.

Hotel location on the sea front was lovely, staff were friendly especially the front of house lady at breakfast. Lovely large and spacious room.

It was not up to the standard we expected for the rating. Lots of paint was peeling off, we couldn't close the bathroom floor because of humidity damage. The pool was only open until 7pm, so the image with the pool and lights is not possible to enjoy. The area is very residential, so having more options for food takes a 30 minute walk.

The sea view is very pretty and staff are friendly.

The lights were not lighting the room very much and the switches were complicated to control. The bathroom was major and beautiful but it wasn’t very clean and it could use some remodeling, the shower was leaking water onto the floor and we found soap wrap from previous guests on the floor and splashes on the mirror.

Great position in front of the beautiful Terrazza Mascagni right on the sea. They upgraded us to a suite: the bed was big and really comfortable. The breakfast is fabulous.

Spacious

Lovely hotel. We stayed 2 nights then off to La Spezia and after few days we have returned again. To be honest the return was better and had a more comfortable room ( beds) than the previous stay. The room was beautiful and very grand and we even had robes in the room which we haven’t had before. The sofa bed was a bit wobble but no problem for the kids. Huge and nice well divided bathroom and toilet. Gorgeous hotel.

Our room could not get one of its ceiling lights switched off, staff told us that the only solution was for us to change to another room (since we were only there for two nights we didn't bother, we went on with it but still...) and the elevator to our floor was broken the whole time. Those are normal inconveniences but the price for the stay + breakfast + parking inside the hotel seems overall a bit overpriced to me (not even having the spa included), especially being in Livorno where you are at least 1hr and half (minimum) away from the Tuscany most famous places.

The room was comfortable enough for us, the bed was probably the best of it. Met our expectations, it was tidy and spacious. Staff was excellent, special mention to Andrea (the bellman), who was very attentive and friendly with us.

Such a wonderful nice and warm welcome late at night! We arrived very tired with our dogs and Andrea the head of the reception not only made us feel so welcome and at home but also gave us a wonderful suite as upgrade. The facilities were super clean, very comfortable bed and the breakfast was great. Extraordinary location, beautiful view.

I like a cold room to sleep in with thick, warm covers. This requires quite an effort in modern hotels where the rooms tends to be very warm with a skimpy cover on the bed. I found a solution in the end so did not require to ask the front desk to have extra coverings, but it makes the room looking a bit messy.

The hotel is situated almost in front of the sea - just across the road and a little open space of a quiet part of Piazza Mascagli. I enjoyed the walks in front of the sea in the morning and evening. My room was facing the other buildings but with enough open space in between. It was not a sea view, but quiet. Room was comfortable and large. It was great to have a bathtub as well as a separate shower.
