Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Portugal- the room and hotel needs an urgent update. having arrived at 1 in the morning all that outdated and heavy decoration left us a bit uncomfortable - all the nighttime noise from the street with countless garbage trucks and other cleaning vehicles was totally heard in the room, making it difficult to rest.
- location - staff is really nice - the bed and pillow were very good

SingaporeI have food allergies and the breakfast does not have anything that is vegan or gluten-free. Everyone else in my party was happy with the breakfast. The coffee was good.
The beds are comfortable. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was amazing! So incredibly helpful and kind. We felt well attended to. The location was perfect. It was close to the Termini and lots of good restaurants. The Colosseum was a short work away. We came for a school trip so safety was important. The security at the hotel was good and helped us feel safe.

GermanyVery friendly staff, I lost my credit card at the hotel. The cleaning lady found it and notified me. The hotel front desk finally helped me destroy the credit card. I am very grateful to them.

United KingdomFriendly staff. Fast check in. City tax paid on arrival. Location was perfect for Roma Termini (Central station) 3 minute walk away. The hotel is in a shared building with multiple hotels within it. Reception is on the 3rd floor. There is a mini lift which can hold two people (with cases) at a squeeze..no real waiting at any time. We had a twin room on the 5th floor (same floor as the breakfast room) which has proximaty card security entry. TV. Air con, all working. Clean and tidy rooms with fridge. Room had a view into the court yard. Set your expectations for views towards Romes history! Lockable window with shutters, net and full curtains. Night time was quite, no noise form street or other rooms. Key code entry is used for night time. At all other times standard key card. Just some slight noise for the breakfast room (0800-1000) as our room was opposite. Breakfast was more than adequate, cold meats, cheese, croissants, cereals, french toast and cakes. Overall a good selection. Don't expect a full English breakfast. Plenty of restaurants and gift shops on its door step. Surprisingly there's also Mcdonalds and KFC less than 2 minutes away. Overall a most enjoyable hotel with a style and feel of 80's chic.

Saudi Arabia- The A/C for the quadruple room just wasn't strong enough to effectively cool the room in the summer - the elevator was positively tiny, fitting only 2 people at a time - the pillows were slightly stiff for those who prefer softer pillows
- Spacious rooms - Beds were decently comfortable - Wide and shallow stairway steps leading up to the hotel - Courteous and helpful staff - Super clean - Very close to shops, markets, and the Termini train station

AustraliaOrlanda is our usual hotel in Rome, and will continue to be in the future. While it is a bit tired, it is very comfortable and in a great location. Plus, there is something special about returning to a familiar place with nice hosts. They were very accommodating responsive - we had an issue with the room that was resolved immediately which was very pleasing. Thanks.

United KingdomThe decor is very dated and breakfast was not to my taste.
The location is perfect for Termini (main station), sites close by and other's not too far to walk to, good bars and restaurants right outside the door. The staff are so accommodating and kind, they made our stay so easy. Don't be put off by the location - the building you enter looks a bit run down but once you get up to the third floor it's lovely and homely.

TurkeyI had moths (very huge ones) in my room, not just one but three. I have a phobia as a solo traveller i had no one but the managers to contact. However the managers are amazing and very helpful people so immediately after i contacted them (even if it was late at night) they came and solved the problem. The location itself is very convenient for sightseeing but since it is close to the central station (Roma Termini), dangerous people can be seen. As i was walking back to the hotel at night, i had two strangers trying to talk to me. Personally i didn’t really mind it but it is important to be careful. Also there are many other hotels in the area so at least there are other tourists who also walk back to their hotels.
The staff are amazing, genuinely very nice and helpful people. The location is also very good, all the tourist attractions are 20 minutes away by foot.

United States of AmericaNo a/c remote in room! You have to ask for it and pay extra, which is fine, but if it is late when you are coming back, there isn’t anyone at the desk. But they did reply through what’s app that they could have told me where remote was, but I didn’t feel comfortable messaging someone that late (1am) about something trivial like a remote, but if it was a true emergency I am positive they would have been quick to respond.
Great location. Staff were helpful, and answered questions through What’s App which was convenient!

United States of AmericaBe sure to pay attention to signage to avoid getting lost. It was a surprise because I did not know how that older area has large apartment style buildings with several hotels and very small elevators.
It is very convenient to walk and roll luggage for access to Termini, Rome's main train station. We had to be on 430am Leonardo Express train to FCO airport so, needed to be extremely convenient. It is a good place to stay briefly and I would return...

IndonesiaI always stayed in this hotel when visiting Rome, but this time the facilities didn't meet my expectations, in particular the water flush (stream) was not strong enough. I think the hotel should refresh its facilities.
Internet connection was very good. The location is very close to Termini.
