I understand renting a towel is a good business instead of offering it for free like majority of places, however, €5? For someone staying for longer okay, but can't imagine to pay that much if I stay there for one night. Had to find extra space in budget travel for towel but oh well!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Not cramped despite the size and volume of people. Great cafe downstairs!

For some reason male bathroom is outside of the room (mixed dorm), but female is inside. No curtains for beds, so don’t think about privacy. There was a light in the room from the corridor through inner window, so it was hard to get sleep. Staff can ask 0.50€ for a glass of water

Location is good if you have day pass for boats, staff is kind of helpful, rooms clean and no smell. Nice restaurant nearby and good common area

It would be crowded for 10 people to stay in one room， and there is only one toilet in the room. The lighting is dim, and the bedside lamp can only illuminate half of the bed. The guests who met in the same room all agreed that the service attitude could be better.

It is the cheapest hotel on Venice Island, but it is not on the main island, so you need to spend an extra 25 euros to buy a one-day boat ticket. As soon as you go out, you will see the river and the scenery is very beautiful.

The rooms were so small - I barely could get in my bunk at night and the drawer situation made it impossible to get ready in the morning. The person in my room was breaking the rules with food and constantly left a mess. I came in late one night I was super quiet but the drawers in our room were super loud and one of the guests in my room got up and yelled at me. This guest ruined my experience at the Generator because he made me feel unsafe I think the staff could have done more to help me out. I think all female dorm rooms should be equal in price so that I have the opportunity to stay in that room next time.

The location and the staff were friendly. Overall felt clean and a good place to stay.

There are no towels. No cleaning products. It is necessary to pay the ferry to arrive to the hostel, in total 19 eur 2 ways make the reservation expensive.

I found the room to be slightly too warm for my taste. The towel I rented was adequate, though I as a personal preference, I wish that it would have been a bit wider and thicker.

I liked how easy it was to check in. It was clean. I liked the lockers under the bed; they were very sturdy. I liked the food available to purchase: they had tasty vegetarian options. The view outside of the hostel is impressive. And it is one station away (or two depending on the Waterbus line taken) from Piazza San Marco. It's also very easy to get to from Piazzalle Roma, by taking Waterbus no. 2 (red line) and the views to the hostel are spectacular.

Luggage storage cabins are small. Some luggages might not fit. Besides they took a pre authorization amount from your card and except that card within you. I pay with another card and they couldnt let pay the remaining amount with another card. The card you entered to booking should be with you.

Nice hostel. It has a bar and restaurant. Nice commune place to chill after traveling in city. Safe and clean.

Only 1 toilet/ shower in the room. Also the storage boxes were good for keeping things in but a bit noisy being trundled in and out all night.
