Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nice rooms in a very nice refurbished palace. Dinner downstairs was really a nice experience (looked like the old cellar been refurbished!) and the food was nice and local but with an elegant twist to it. Very nice wine list and definitely worth a visit to the cellar on the way in 😘😘😘

Food, though is troublesome after 9pm, and the choices after that time are very limited. If you get to the hotel pre-9am, the food is excellent and the restaurant areas atmospheric
The hotel is beautiful, steeped in history, and the rooms have been exquisitely refurbished to be intune with the building, cosy and yet modern at the same time. It is a wonderful experience, and superbly situated near to the castle and in the heart of the medieval town.

Great accommodation in the historic centre of Fossano. the staff is very nice and helpful and the food in the restaurant in the vaulted cellar is highly recommended.

The hotel is very well maintained. The room was very cozy and well furnished. Breakfast was also very good and the staff very well prepared. They all spoke in English and made sure everything was ok at our table. The cherry on top of the cake was the lunch at the restaurant of the hotel. Amazing food and service.

typical with old European hotels, even with “an upgrade” rooms are a bit small. Parking is a few blocks away.

Our room was beautiful! Elaborate, vaulted ceiling with fresco painting, lovely linens, marble bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi tub. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant offered delicious meals.

We had dinner the first night at the hotel and were disappointed that the dining room listed for dining in Tripadvisers had been closed for several months. I had a mixed salad, which was exceptional. The following dish was squid, which was tender and delicious, although the sauce was a bit overpowering. As the main dish, I had snails, which I have become very fond of in my travels through Spain. This dish was unfortunately served in a very heavy cream sauce that did not fit the delicate taste of the snails.
Our breakfast was very good. It was served in the courtyard, which is beautiful.

Wow - what a great hotel! Fossano is a sleepy quiet beautiful town and this hotel is a gem. Wonderful central location, wonderful rooms and a great dinning and lounging area. The staff was super helpful and the wine selection was great. This hotel was one of the nicest we been two in 4 decades of travel! If you want a couple of days off the beaten path - try Fossano and this is the place to stay.

Could not access English SKY. Instructions in the room were not adequate. Parking is a bit of a problem, but probably can't expect any different in the middle of a very old city.
Other than below, and PARKING, everything was great. Staff, particularly Daniella were outstanding. Room was very clean, and very modern in such an 'Old World' setting. Bathroom was amazingly modern and 'cool'. Food was superb. Loved our stay.
