Rubbish breakfast lots of sweet cakes very poor ingredients such as cheeses and meats . All very pre-packed commercial standard. Pity as puglia has great food. Need a car as nothing outside hotel, very much a short stay hotel not for holiday makers.

Reception was angry to issue a business invoice even though I have requested it in my booking from the beginning, because they had issue the receipt.

Shuttle bays service is a very big plus and location is close to the airport . Big breakfast with many options.

I had a very early flight to Rome, and this hotel was ideal for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable. It was within easy walking distance of Europa metro station and the 24/7 shuttle to the airport was excellent. Because of my early departure I wasn't able to have the included breakfast so I can't comment on that.

Very difficult to link up with Hotel Shuttle. It took 45 minutes and 4 phone calls to link up with the shuttle due to a misunderstanding. Uk says 1st floor for 1st level above ground while most of Europe says 1st floor for the ground floor. So I spent most of my time waiting on the wrong floor. Also I was not told whether it was a bus, a minibus or a car and what colour it was. When the minibus arrived it was hard to read the wording on the bus. Also the hotel name on the bus was not the same as the hotel I was booked in. I guessed that the bus that arrived might be going near to the hotel I was trying to get to so I spoke to the driver and discovered that he was there for me. You need to improve the shuttle bus collection and connection process considerably. For getting back to the airport the next day I asked how long I needed to allow between asking for a ride and my required arrival time. I was told no more than 5 minutes. Then when I asks for a shuttle to the airport, it was over 20 minutes before a driver appeared so I almost missed my connection.

The overall energy of the staff was "business only", both morning and evening reception shift workers greet you without a smile and stick to check-in/payment questions, restaurant staff was just running around without any greetings at all. Speaking of the restaurant, it under-performed both with dinner, breakfast and atmosphere - it's your standard hotel food, prepped beforehand and then re-heated as the guests are ordering. There's no music, and it's an open-style area that is cold and uninviting, with no paintings, flowers or anything. Just a table, sit, eat, go.

Quite rooms with really comfortable beds and a good selection of pillows. There's a gym, pool and spa, with great masseuses. Close to the Bari ferry as well, secure underground parking. It basically checks all the marks one would need for a 1 night sleep-over before continuing your trip.

The AC in the gym wasn't working. More like a hot yoga class. But I wasn't there primarily for the gym. Nothing nearby so plan accordingly.

Very convenient for flying to the airport. Just 5 minutes away. Good gym and a surprisingly good restaurant for being a tour bus type of hotel.

Actuallly I had no complaints at all.

My flight was delayed 3 hrs and I arrived at 1 am, exhausted. The room was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was very civilized, a full breakfast.

Proximity of the airport, very comfy bed, super interesting album about Bari and region - great idea to place it in a room. It was very tempting to take it with me but that's not allowed and others should have chance to read it too:)))

The most annoying thing about Parco dei Principi hotel is that they don't tell you about the little tavola calda outside on the corner where they do you a delicious lunch for 9 euros. In fact the hotel reception staff told me that the 'Le Bontà Pugliesi' did not exist and anyway wasn't a good place for lunch. How wrong they were. The hotel is also not very well connected - particularly at night when the route to the metro station ('Europa'- 6 minutes away) is not lit and feels quite dangerous. The last metro train back to the hotel from central Bari is 23:06 which rather restricts your options for dinner in town.

The best thing about Parco dei Principi hotel is the little caffè (tavola calda) outside on the corner called ' Le Bontà Pugliesi' where they do you a delicious lunch for 9 euros. Also spectacular is the health club, the unusual hot tub, the room quality and the service. No bacon, bubble and squeak or fried tomatoes in the breakfast, but within the bounds of what you might expect in Italy, it's lovely. The rooms have CNN and BBC News and great a/c. Also there is an excellent shuttle service from the airport terminal (departures level only).
