There's a lack of cleanliness in the rooms. I would like more variety for breakfast. All three mornings of my stay, the breakfasts were the same. Additionally, no one refilled the breakfast buffet after 9 a.m. The hotel is far from the main attractions , so if you arrive without a car, the journeys could be quite long.

They were charging me for tea bags and milks in the evening (in morning with breakfast was free), which stuff is usually free in every hotel I have stayed in US, Europe and Asia. Gieusppo at the front desk was impatient and rude when I asked clarifications for directions to different places, till I called him out for his rudeness. Mak at the bar was also rude till I called him out too.

Decent Breakfast-Eggs, cheese, ham bread, fruits and lots of cakes/pastries and other sweet stuff. Boiled eggs were always cold:-(

Once glorious, the place hasn’t been restored and maintained for years. Bathrooms are first to require a renovation. The shower cap was spraying water all over that place. The bathtub wasn’t looking clean so we never used it. The fan was okay. The lobby had an old furniture and the respective odour. Pictures at Booking are nice, in reality, it was an aged hotel. However the overall experience was positive. It’s just deceiving, expectations and reality.

The bed was nice, staff were very welcoming and professional. Cleaning services are working nice.

Room was very cozy and clean. Adequate room size for a family. Interiors were classic Europen unlike modern box hotels. Location was good close to metro and bus to reach historic centre within 30-35 mins

The breakfast was limited, i expected more. In the rooms, we could literally hear the others in the other rooms talking, and the others could hear us. at night we had to be extremely quiet in order not to disturb anyone, and with quiet i mean we had to whisper.

The staff were very very friendly. They explained to us in details about the busses and historical sites. The toilettes were clean, view of the room was very nice and in general it was very good.

Hot water ran out for a while one day and I think the hotel is near a polize station or something because there was a constant stream of emergency vehicles going past the hotel. If you're a light sleeper you will definitely want a room away from the street, there the noises weren't too bad.

The room was confortable and clean, nothing special though. A/C worked perfectly and was so nice in the hot weather. Bring your own chrome cast or similar for the TV! The breakfast was nice and they had gluten free snacks which was lovely. Cleaning every day. Free parking behind gates was a huge plus and we were able to drive everywhere in Rome with an electric car! Cheap drinks at the bar in the evening. The sockets in the room were those with 3 holes, check if you need an adapter!

Personally I'd appreciate more diverse breakfast.

Breakfast was good with lactose and gluten free options. The rooms were good, but the bathroom was a little outdated. We had our towels changed everyday, which was nice. The reception staff is helpful and can even provide transfers to the airport.

For Europeans walking 1.1 kms is short distance but actually it's more than 10 minutes walk. The nearest metro is more than 1 km from the Hotel.

The hotel was very good. And it's staff was very courteous and friendly. The front desk guided us on every occasion plus they were very prompt in service. Breakfast was good. And WIFI connectivity was good too. The location is well connected.

Size of a room is rather modest, breakfast room is quite packed most of the mornings, a parking facility seems to be subletted on some days which makes it occasionally difficult to find a free spot.

We liked everything.

The breakfast was good. The location is a bit far from the center, but close to the metro. Two stops to Vatican. We had a car. The staff was extraodinarily helpful. The manager Giuseppe is an excellent example of the ideal attitude towards the guests. It was a great pleasure to meet him. We are grateful to him very much, for smiles, sense of humour and readiness to help and give a worthy advice! The room is very clean. New towels every day!

Some staff members struggled with english , the hotel is far from city centre and for two days out of five we had no hot water .

Rooms were clean , the AC was working and breakfast was delicious . The hotel was quiet with grocery stores and metro nearby .

Room wasn’t exactly as shown. Shower knob was broken. Tricky to operate shower. The hotel is a bit dated but decent. Good value. Although location wasn’t bad, being a bit closer to the main attractions would have been better.

Our room was on the 6th floor, which I believe was a sort of a loft room and it wasn’t as beautiful as shown in the photos and in one of the rooms we didn’t use the conditioner because as we switched it on a very unpleasant smell started to come out of it and we just switched it off to avoid the smell. It was very late, we were tired and didn’t even inform the staff about the smell, so we don’t know what they would have done in this case. So we just used the other conditioner that was in the other room. But it means - in the small room it was less comfortable to sleep as it was hotter. In some parts of the room it was visible that it needs some redecoration. But overall it was very good. If we decided to travel to Rome, we would most probably choose the same hotel.

Beautiful park nearby, friendly staff, our rooms were clean and we liked that very good breakfast was served - a lot to choose from, fruits, dairy products, cheese, different pastry and many other delicious products and dishes.

The bathroom needed a renovation: we didn't see the fan for it. Even if the hotel was located near a bus station & the metro station, it was still a little bit far from the main activities.

The staff was very helpful & professional. The room was clean and with a beautiful view. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The location was 2 bus stops away of the metro, which was convenient. We did enjoy our stay at Pinewood hotel.
