The rooms feel a bit outdated

The breakfast was amazing, whatever the room may lack the breakfast certainly makes up for it!

Please have in mind this is a preference, for me the beds and pillows were too soft. I really did not like the wifi policy which does not require a password but rather you registering with you email.

Not a big deal, but one must ask the front desk agent to turn on the HVAC in the room, although once on, there is a thermostat in the room. An instruction label on the thermostat, i.e. ask at the front desk, would be useful (or at least a mention at check-in). Maybe it was just a cultural barrier, as I was wandering around the lobby area, the front desk agent rather curtly asked ‘what are you looking for?’. ‘I am just exploring.’ No future interaction, but he did seem irritated that I was just looking around. These items did not take away from my review.

Polo – pretty much as advertised. Clean. Bathroom was sufficient. Bed was comfortable. Room furnishings were a bit worn, but all functional. OK for one night in a single room. But if more than one night, not sure I’d like it as the room was small enough that as I had to open my suitcase in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and extensive; I liked the extended hours (7-12). My room had a small balcony; not sure every room does. Beach/sea walk across the street. Historic center about a 15 minute walk. Unmetered taxi from train station was 15 Euros and metered taxi (the hotel has to call for off season as there are not taxis just out driving around) was 11 Euros.

The lift is poor. If you are waiting on the top floor (and have difficulty with stairs so you need it), it goes up and down many times serving people on lower floors before you're lucky enough for it to come for you.

We've stayed there before. The breakfast has always been good, and has now improved. Room cleaning excellent. Very well-positioned.

In the guy in reception didnt let us in without tshirt. We were coming beach and t shirts were wet. We had to wear it like that.

First figuring how to operate the lights, so many switches and combinations needed to be figured out with not labelling. But not alot to complain about, good location, good service, nice staff and parking was offered.

The staff were great, we were greeted every morning for breakfast 😀..Breakfast provided a variety of items to have. With a large group eating around similar times the coffee machine would have a line but it was good coffee.

There are a couple restaurants near the hotel, that are working till late, and a lot of people waking and sometimes shouting at night. There is not connected to hotel, but It's better to take earplugs for comfort sleeping.

Breakfasts were really nice. Tasty and you are always have something new. Coffee are always nice. Room service is also good. Personal are welcome and ready to help.

The hotel needs renovation

The location of the hotel was the best. It was only 3 min away from the beach! Eventhough the hotel facilities were too old,the cleanness was to admire. They cleaned the room every day. A strength point of this hotel was also the breakfast. There were a variety of fresh cooked dishes to enjoy.

our room was a small double room with an additional cot for sleeping. with no terrace. apparently there are some newly refurbished rooms and some old ones. our one was very old with a very old and stinky carpet. we had to open the window very time we were in the room. i have also asked the first night to fix the smell problem, so they came with the ozone machine, but nothing has changed.

fantastic location, right in the center of the marina. 10 min walk from the train station and 1 min from the beach. the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good, full of choices from salty to sweet.

Firsts of all I think our stay at Hotel Polo met our expectations. It was a good and fair balance between how much we spent for the accommodation and the overall quality of the hotel or maybe more. One of the things that we appreciate was the q the breakfast served here, very consistent, very divers maybe even abounded. Beside the breakfast, another big plus was the stuff, especially at the Reception, so helpful, friendly and professional. The room was clean and kept clean every day, everything functioned in the room ... no problem there. Location is ok to perfect, the bus station , including the 9 and Metro Mare which both connect to the airport were very close. A large supermarket was in a walking distance, Fellini Park and the harbor very close also, not to mention the beach.
