Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe had to book an additional night due to Ryanair changing the day of our flight and the only room available was a family room, I felt the charge was excessive and as we were staying a further 5 nights we should have been given a better rate.
The room was remarkably quiet being on a main road. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was very good and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and again very clean.

MaltaI have been using this hotel for the past 17 years, has lost much of it's previous charm and the breakfast has sufferred tremendously. Having said that the breakfast was still decent with fresh croissants and pastries. Coffee was generic machine espresso as contrasted to previously having a barista serving real coffee.
Location location location - in the heart of Roma within walking distance of virtually everything, could not have asked for a better place.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was OK. We had the window open at night and it was a bit noisy until 11 pm (or midnight) from street singers on Via del Corso.
The desk staff were terrific - very helpful. The location was great for walking to museums, the Vatican, the Jewish quarter, the Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, good restaurants and shopping - as well as being half a block from the best gelato in Rome. Good sized room and nice shower.

United KingdomSpare bed was uncomfortable. Sheets was placed directly on to the bed with no padding. So I felt the rough fabric to my skin. It will be great if you put a pad and then sheets on top.
Location was great! Staff was very helpful.

Hotel was in a great location and beds were very comfortable. The mini bar was free which was a great touch but if you wanted it refilled you had to pay. Free breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day with plenty of choice

CanadaThat we had to leave. The weather wasn't the greatest but a raincoat and umbrella kept us reasonably dry. Rome is a fantastic city and Hotel Regno is in the perfect location for sightseeing, and it was sad to have to leave.
Location is perfect, very central to a lot of locations within walking distance. Our third time staying here. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Not too crowded in early March compared to summer time.

United KingdomQuite a lot of light coming in in the morning which disturbed our sleep most days, would be better for more blackout blinds. City tax was more than expected and taken at the end of the stay rather than the start which was slightly annoying
Amazing location, breakfast was perfect for us as we are not fussy, lovely view from balcony cant fault it at all

United KingdomMore storage space as we stayed for 6 days so only a wardrobe with a few hangers. Second chair in the room instead of one of us having to sit on bed. We had to purchase milk as none offered with tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast is basic maybe a choice/change every few days.
Excellent central location for access to all the sites being just minutes walking distance between Trevi and Pantheon. 502 a balcony room great for watching the world go by and in the evening listening to the street musicians whilst getting ready to go out. Simone on reception always a happy greeting and engaging going the extra mile to help with anything from directions to restaurants to speaking with our taxi driver on our return to airport as we could find where he was waiting to pick us up. Having stayed in many hotels around the world this is perfect for a stay in Rome. Thank you very much to all the staff.

IrelandOnly thing I thought that could be improved was breakfast. The selection was very small - maybe fresh orange juice and fresh crossiants but otherwise top marks for everything else this was just a minor thing the breakfast provided was fine .
Great hotel - clean , newly renovated , staff really friendly, great location we walked to most main locations from this hotel. We got a balcony room.
