Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing really negative to say. May be decor less red! But matter of taste.
Location good and the staff exceptionally helpful. Helpful hosts. Appreciated tips and excellent instructions to getting to property and access. Tips on places to visit. Restaurants nearby. Right by metro, shops and restaurants. Very prompt and varied breakfast. We thought the bedroom was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable.

PolandIt was quite damp in the bathroom but I guess there's not much you can do with it in the older buildings. If you are very picky with the mattresses, it's worth to note it was quite soft.
First of all, the communication with the owner and staff was beyond expectations. Everyone was responsive, helpful and genuinely kind. Aldo provided us with a lot of recommendations and tips on how to get around Rome. Late self checkin was a breeze and there was also no problem to leave our luggage after check-out which was very appreciated granted our flight was late in the evening. There was quite a lot of choice for breakfast (incl. fresh cornettos and fruit), all accompanied by good coffee and lovely chats with the staff. The room was basic but clean and had everything you need for the short stay. It was a bit chilly when we came but there was a small heater which quickly resolved the issue. The apartment is located in the lively neighbourhood with lots of restaurants. It's near to metro station and bus stops but if you're okay with walking, the main touristic sights are definitely in the walking distance reach.

United States of AmericaJust be aware that the elevator is very small for 1-2 people and there are some steps if you have heavy luggage. Wifi was not working well.
The location is perfect within walking distance of the Vatican, Castel Sant’Angelo, and Piazza del Popolo, great restaurants in the area with a 24hr pharmacy and shops, and easy to just walk to all the sights. The rooms are very spacious and comfy. The breakfast is a great start to my morning and the staff are super friendly and very helpful for your trip around Rome. I would recommend!

United KingdomMy parents went on their first solo travel (not visiting children) and were nervous about staying in a new country. Aldo made them feel very comfortable, suggested restaurants (that they have not stopped talking about) and booked cabs so they didn't have to worry about missing their meeting place appointments for excursions. They have been raving about their stay since they got back and I have so much respect for a host that can make my parents not want to leave! Thank you for being an amazing host, supplying delicious breakfasts and for your general kindess.

United KingdomIt was perfect.
Home from home. Fridge with milk, a kettle, tea bags and biscuits always available. Easy to eat in your room as plates, etc available. Supermarket and restaurants in the square outside. There was a breakfast area to sit in and breakfast was excellent: cold meat, fruit, Cereal, cakes. Audrey, who looked after everything, was amazing. Thanks Audrey. The owner was also available immediately when the air conditioning needed adjustment. We would definitely want to stay here again.

United KingdomQuite a convoluted place to get into to with several keys and a very very small lift.
Audrey and Aldo went above and beyond to look after us, recommending and booking restaurants and helping us find a tour when most tours were completely sold out. Also helped us get taxis which was not easy.

United States of AmericaFrom the beginning of our arrival in Rome, Aldo was very helpful with instructions and all the questions we had. It was our first time in Rome and he was our personal travel agent with helping us out with directions, restaurants, etc. Audrey was extremely accommodating and personable. The breakfast was a nice touch to just come out of our room and have fresh coffee, sweets, and a variety of cheese, meats, granola, yogurt, eggs and toast. Our room was very clean, big enough for us to spread out our luggage and still have room to relax and have a glass of wine with 2 chairs and a table. The B & B is in close proximity to the area where we wanted to be and very accessible to walking distance of great restaurants and getting on the tour bus. We would recommend this to anyone that would be going to this area. Thank you Aldo and Audrey for being so friendly and accommodating.

United KingdomCan be a tad noisy in the mornings when breakfast starts, which is unavoidable. Only real issue for us.
Great location for Rome. You can access everything by foot very easily, especially the Vatican which is 15 minutes away. Staff were incredibly friendly and were super attentive at breakfast. Very easy location to access as well, Aldo gives very clear and simple instructions on how to access the B&B.

United States of AmericaThe flushing water in the bathroom was strong and can be tuned down a little bit.
The host was very accommodating and responsive. Our original flight to Rome was canceled, and we eventually arrived there at midnight, with a 7-hour delay. The host helped us arrange taxi pick-up and waited for us to arrive. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was also very clean. The breakfast also exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and had different varieties. The two rotating hosts we met during breakfast were both super friendly and helped us make fresh coffee. Really enjoyed my stay there.

The room was very spacious, simple, comfortable mattress and pillows, smart TV, good wifi, quiet building, good breakfast. In front of the building there are restaurants, market shops, bus stations. The airport shuttle bus has a stop very near. 15 min walking to Piazza Navona, Vatican City or Piazza Populo. Thank you Audrey! Big hug from my kid, Ayan!
