The bathroom sink was clogged. There was no kettle nor any sort of cups for tea or toothbrushes. The room looked much nicer on the photos than in reality. Nonexistent views from the windows.

The apartment is in the old city centre where is no parking spaces for car. Only possible to park your car in paid parking spaces, however it is cheap and not far away.

Good location in the old city centre, we went everywhere by walking, beach is near and all the restaurants and shops as well. The host of the place was so helpful and nice, explained everything to us, showed us on the city map where everything was, where to go swimming, etc. The aparatment was clean, with a little balcony with the street view to the old city.

There was no window at all. So felt claustrophobic and stuffy. Also building work/drilling started too early.....like 7.30. Way too early...maybe leave the drilling and banging until after 9.

We had a very positive experience at Residence Cortile Mercè and I strongly recommend it to other travellers looking for a great place to stay in Trapani :) Every single staff member we interacted with was very warm and welcoming, always ready to answer questions and give recommendations for discovering Trapani and its surroundings. The housekeeping staff deserves honorable mention, as their sunny disposition also had a positive impact during our stay. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the A/C saved our lives as summers in Sicily get quite hot. We were on the last floor, where all rooms are separated from each other, so it was very quiet despite being in the entrance to the old town. A dream! I worked remotely for a few days while staying here and had to use my phone as a hotspot because the wi-fi was not reliable. However, Trapani is for relaxing, not working! So, go! This place is great. Forget the wi-fi, you can get that in restaurants.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The main selling point of Cortile Merce are the fantastic staff, who really made us feel at home and were always so helpful and attentive. Whenever we asked for something they were always kind and went out of their way to assist us, gave us lots of advice about how to get around, where to rent a car, etc. Thank you so much!

While everything else about the hotel was fantastic, I did notice that the sound isolation could be improved. There were times when noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway could be heard, which slightly affected the overall tranquility of my stay. I understand that achieving perfect sound isolation can be challenging in any establishment, and it's a minor aspect compared to all the positives the hotel has to offer. Nonetheless, it's something that could potentially enhance the overall guest experience even further. I would like to emphasize that this observation in no way diminished my overall enjoyment of the hotel.
