Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe room was somewhat clean, but there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the walls were dirty. They didn't change the sheets even though we were there for 4 nights and the towels were changed only once. There was so much noise as the walls were thin and you could basically hear everything going on outside and the old door being heavy was too loud when it closed.
Very nice location, very friendly staff

RomaniaWe had 3 rooms. In one of them the bathroom smelt verry bad. Although they cleaned the rooms every day, the rooms weren't clean. Under the bed it was a lot of dust, the floor was dirty, if you walked without shoes you got a lot of crums, dust, and hair on your feet. Also, I think they use the bidet to clean the mop becouse on one of the days after cleaning, it was full of hair and cloth.
the location is great. 20 min walk to the center or 10 minutes by bus or tram. The stuff is verry nice. They let us keep the lugagges before ceck -in anf after ceck - out. The towels were clean and changed often

United States of AmericaWifi wasn't great, the staff were nice but not around enough, no coffee refills, the bathroom had an automatic light that stayed on all the time. Expensive for a basic place to sleep
Pretty good location, close to everything in Trastevere, but a few blocks away from the main area.

New ZealandMy room was near to the entrance door, which was the problem. The door slams so loud if it wasn't closed gently. Also, the internet connection was so bad in the room, might be due to being near the entrance. The walls are hear through, let it be an angry wife yelling at her husband or kids running around playing, and drunk ppl coming in late and slamming the entrance door.
Great rooms and energetic receptionist. . Location is 40 mins walk to tourist attractions.

BulgariaThe room was extremely small. Especially compared to what was advertised. There was no baby bed. They provided a sofa bed but my son is 2yo and still sleeps in a cot. Therefore my mom had to sleep on the mini sofa bed because my son would have fallen from it. The place was clean but well used and in need of an update. As it was small, it became really noisy when people were coming in or going out. Overall, we needed the place just to sleep there and the location was really good. We expected more but did not let the disapointment of the place to ruin our time in Rome- spent more time outside and just went in for the night.
Great location with many amazing restaurants and cafes around!

HondurasThe only bad thing is that the walls are a bit too thin, which can lead to listen to the other guests in other rooms IF they are really loud. However, it is understandable it is not a problem from the hotel when there are people coming to stay which can be really loud when speaking or make noise in the middle of the night. So I guess its a matter of luck if any of the other guests are a bit disrespectful concerning their noise levels during your stay. For us we had trouble to sleep the first two days, but after that, the NOISY guests left.
The room size was enough for two people and the bathroom was is really good conditions. We were completely relieved that the room looked like in the pictures because we got a bit afraid after reading some past reviews. The staff is really friendly and are open to help in case of tourist advice.

Greecepretty tiny for 3 adults. probably should have realized this. the bathroom super tiny and hard to have 2 people get ready at once. also it is on the first floor so if you are street side there is some ambient noise at interesting hours. not a lot but it is there. would have liked a second mirror in the closet / on the door to help facilitate getting ready in morning.
location — it is on a quiet residential street. the noise outside was from the locals dropping their garbage in the container and a bit of late night fun. it was only 3 blocks from the night life but quiet once turning the corner. local popular spot was across the street great for a quick spritz. I also loved that there was an instant espresso machine and a kettle in the room. saved a bit of time in the morning. towel service and quick cleaning was also very much appreciated.

SpainMy room was rather dark, the window overlooked the yard and was closed with some kind of shutters. Some renovation to the room would be nice, it is rather old (not in a good way). The walls in the bathroom and in the room were a little dirty.
The location is perfect! I enjoyed the area and its restaurants and cafes. It is also very close to the city center and the most attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The towels and bed sheets were perfectly clean and white.

BulgariaThe thin walls dividing the different rooms in this mini hotel will allow you to hear all the other guests while talking. The bed was short, so if you‘re above 1,70 m, your feet will stick out of it. The light in the bathroom is with a motion sensor that is set to such a short timespan that the lights go out while you‘re sitting on the toilet or taking a shower, this was especially annoying because it also meant turning a very loud bathroom fan on and off. Oh, and the sensor detects you opening the room‘s (not just the bathroom‘s) door.
Good location in one of the quieter areas of Trastevere. You can be in the area of restaurants and bars without the noise.
