Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Can’t think now anything
Beautiful, relatively big room with a balcony, very friendly owner and staff, handy location and still quiet. We could have stayed longer if possible.

No complaints about our stay!
Perfect location and friendly staff. Check-in process was smooth. Room was large and comfortable, very clean. We would definitely stay here again next time we are back in Palermo. Bathroom was located outside of the main room but was easy to access.

Location great for my short stay. Easy to find hopon-hopoff point and on final day easy to get to segesta bus point to trapani.

Very central location. Quiet as it overlooks a pedestrian area. Attentive staff. Spacious room, ours was the junior suite with private sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast can be had on the balcony. Very safe. Setting is a large apartement divided into several spacious rooms with a/c. Like a hotel and B&B. We enjoyed and recommend it.

This is an exceptional place to stay. Bright, comfortable, elegant... this place is run with great care to the finest detail. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street, but it was quiet at night. There is a reception desk and everybody at the Residenza were most kind, willing to help and their recommendations on what to see, where to eat etc... were valuable. We liked the variety of food that was served for breakfast and the coffee. This was definitely the best choice for our short stay in Palermo

Nothing it was perfect
Wagner Residence Palermo. What a delightful hotel. Look no further. It's a great discovery. They provide knowledgeable information about local places: good restaurants, museums and other delights of Palermo. I have to say that all the staff we encountered were so friendly they made our stay a happy one. The hotel has some beautiful paintings in the lobby and in your room. Thanks Carmen. I’ll be back😎😜

The only complaint we would’ve had was that there was no air flow in our bathroom, so it was constantly hot and stuffy.
Residenza Wagner was a fantastic experience, the staff is so friendly and helpful, the location is great, and the stay was quite comfortable!

Access to the property was tedious
Not applicable parking. Was utterly ridiculous and Palermo as a tourist attraction does not avail itself of people visiting by car.

Nothing. It was perfect!
Amazing location! Our room was just great. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Residenza Wagner to family, friends or anyone who wants to visit Palermo. Only a 15 minute walk from the historical sites like the Norman Palace. We would come back for sure.

Entrance was not inviting, but it was very nice once within the establishment. Parking was not conveneint, but we were aware of this challenge.
The place was charming and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was very cinveneient as well with walking location to many sites and restaurants.

breakfast time fixed at 8:30 - not earlier parking difficult, expensive, public garage a short distance away from property and needs prior notice to retrieve car which then is boxed in by other cars and needs valet to extricate staff were very unfriendly - we needed car early and they refused to phone garage for us until they finished setting up for breakfast after 8:30

Cannot think of any - we plan to visit Palermo again and will stay at the Residenza Wagner
This is a gem of a hotel. Great location and staff. The facilities were excellent. Its literally a 10-minutes walking distance from most monuments. We walked everywhere - only used public transport (Bus) to get to the Central Train Station, to travel to Cefalu and Agrigento. The accommodation was clean and spacious, air-conditioned, Free WiFI and breakfast was included. The staff were very helpful with information on places of interest and Restaurants. Comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Its only a 5-minute walk from the drop-off point of the Airport Bus. Couldn't ask for more - will visit again.
