Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The grounds of the property needs some attention. The price was high but one of the lowest in the area for the date that said the property served our needs and we were pleasantly surprised overall
Airport shuttle was 2 blocks away and easy to catch. We stayed because we were leaving out of MXP the next day. There isn't anything to see here but the train into Milan was easy to get to.

WiFi never worked the 2 days I was there. Breakfast was very very basic, no real choice and different each day. Bedroom had no heating and walls are paper thin
The staff are nice and friendly, think it’s a family.

Location especially if you need to stay near the airport + value for money. It was one night (for me) and this was the cheapest option that just made sense to me! Also had an early flight the next day and the shuttles were easy to navigate to and reliable in expecting. Was happy to see a restaurant attached that was good tasting food and good prices — overall, good spot

The bed in single room is too small!
The property have big advantage because they are close to the airport Malpensa, and the bus station for shuttle bus is very close. The stuff is super friendly!

There are steps everywhere! Even my room had steps as you entered (not ideal when carrying bags and cases). My room was cold and the air conditioning/heating very noisy. I had to take a blanket from the wardrobe and put it on the bed
Hotel is comfortable, well located for Malpensa airport and if you are travelling by car, very close to motorways. Food in the restaurant was inexpensive and good quality.

Basic accomodation
Location is not far from Milan airport if you have a car. It is between the terminals (but not walking distance) Without a car, it would be a walk plus a bus ride. Still accessible, but not super convenient. Value for money Pleasant staff

Phil who works the front desk went above and beyond for us. He was in constant contact and helped coordinate our stay and transportation even with our after hour arrival.

Although I did select the cheapest option for a hotel near the airport for the money paid I would have hoped for a slightly better quality overall. Bed was small and not very comfortable, aircon noisy and ineffective, no breakfast included and a cafe that only opened at 9 AM (I was already in the departure lounge by 9 so ate there instead). Certainly not a hotel I'd stay at again unless once again ai was seeking the absolute cheapest option for a night before flying.
It is convenient for the airport and a 5 minute walk from the free shuttle bus service stop. It did have a clean bed albeit not very comfortable.

We liked everything!
Central to the airport and serviced by a free shuttle bus which also allowed easy access to the train station, with kind and extremely helpful staff. Very comfortable room with all the essential amenities. The on-site restaurant was also very convenient.

Showerhead gives only a little water. Do not expect a hot and steamy shower!
It is not the most modern hotel but the staff of both the hotel and restaurant were polite and helpfull. Experienced a clean room/bathroom and the bed is not suited for the taller people among us. But the matress!!!! Omg ! It was absolutely excellent!!!

Because it's so close to the airport, there isn't a lot around (grocery stores, etc.). However, there is a restaurant in the hotel.
Quick and easy to the airport. Free shuttle was easy to figure out and the staff provided a great deal of assistance/information any time I needed it. Staff really went out of there way to make sure I had what I needed and that I was comfortable.
