Slow elevator. The second floor carpet from the elevator presented as dirty. No doubt it was vacuumed regularly but it doesn’t look good at all. The rest of the hotel (that we saw) and our room was very well kept up.

Staff were excellent. They noticed it was my wife’s birthday and put some treats in our room.

Great location, in the center of Ortigia, next to the Duomo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered lots of choices including eggs, local pastries and yoghurts.

There were two small lights on the wall (one was the air-conditioning monitor) that were lit up and in my line of sight that affected my sleep. No doubt when this room is refurbished (we had a standard room on third floor) it will be addressed but otherwise room was clean, constable, spacious and had wonderful balcony with view along to the Duomo. I would stay here again

Location was great for sights, restaurants and ease of walking around ortiga. Staff helpful. Outside terrace and reception modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good. There is a calmness about the hotel that made it very comfortable. They work with a taxi driver who is excellent and helpful.

Carpets in hallways were really dirty. A small thing like that should be taken care of as it detracts from the otherwise beautiful setting. It was nearly impossible to reach the hotel by car. The hotel should suggest a place for visitors with cars to park, and pick them up from the car park.

Luxurious breakfasts. Room quiet despite being on main square. Loved the location in the heart of Ortigia, and easy walk to everything.

The hotel is open cater in the heart of Ortigia. The hotel is tastefully decorated, very well taken care of, staff is very helpful and provide excellent service, breakfast is included and was absolutely wonderful. Our stay was absolutely exquisite.

That I had to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel for 5 nights. The location of the hotel was second to none, a few steps from piazza del Duomo. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The cleaning staff did fabulous job and were very accomodating. The breakfast was superb. I had a rental car and used their valet service to park and retrieve the car. Every single staff member was curteous and pleasant. Had dinner at the restaurant one evening and had a fantastic meal. The chef is exceptional.

Some breakfast choices a little limited, e.g. flakes only, no muesli or unsweetened yoghurt. Room a bit dull, all brown!

Location was excellent, right in the centre of Ortigia. Staff friendly and helpful. Valet parking superb. Good selection of whole fresh fruit at breakfast.

The elevator was a bit confusing if more than one floor was pushed.

It is a beautiful hotel and the facilities were lovely! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The view from our room was awesome, especially at sunset. We loved the courtyard as well. The breakfast provided and the service was unbelievable! There was so much fresh food and so delicious! The hotel was close to everything. The valet parking was a plus!

We did a few circles of the block before we realised that the busy, narrow pedestrian street was where the hotel sat, and although our GPS was telling us we couldn’t drive down it we actually could. The hotel did text us a PDF on how to find the hotel by car but I suggest a quick video would be more helpful. There are designated car parks in front of the hotel so no issues with parking and leaving the car with the valet.

Convenient location right in the middle of the old town close to restaurants and major sites. Authentic building that overlooked a lovely town square. Valet parking and the car was retrieved for you whenever required. Great leisurely breakfast every morning. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was amazing,

Classic room with balcony on top floor. Generally room good but balcony almost a waste as very small with a full height wall in front of any view all you could view was the sky!
