Dinner had to be booked in advance as the restaurant was packed.

Breakfast was very good, wide choice of food and drinks. Barman Silvio was very nice and friendly. Perfect view from the hotel on Lago Maggiore, on the Borromean Islands, nice terrace on the roof of the hotel.

Our room was a bit noisy at night – hearing the toilets flushing in neighboring rooms was irritating and disturbing. The building standard when the hotel was constructed, I guess. The room was clean and not overly spacious. However, the size was transparent during the booking process. Again, given the room price, it is acceptable; asking for more would not be realistic. The WiFi sign-up procedure struck me as cumbersome: sign up, leave email address, etc. I didn't do it and worked off my private plan.

Friendly staff overall, nice bar area, location within 20 walking minutes of the town center. In addition, there's free parking. Given the price point of the room, one can hardly ask for more. We only stayed for one night, passing through, and our expectations had been met.

The bedsheets on a double bed was separated and were juxtaposed near eachother , proper for single bed not for double bed.

Didn't have a coffee machine in the room. The closest way to the rails/bus station is using a road with no sidewalks and a lot of traffic. You can take other way (closer to the lake) but it's longer. I wouldn't recommend walking if you have heavy suitcases. Even with a light suitcase (16 lb) I felt the walk to the station was a little too much (the road also has some slope)

Has beautiful garden. The breakfast was excellent (nice buffet) and it's served in a very nice room open to the garden. Has a top terrace with nice view of the lake. 2 blocks away from a place to take boats to visit the isles .

The apartment was a bit dark, but that's probably the style (dark wood).

Good value for the price (at least off season). Relatively large apartment with 2 rooms, a small kitchen and a living room. Beautiful view on the glacier. Nice swimming pool and sauna, although I imagine it can get a bit small during high season. Parking was good.

The breakfast was generous, lots of choice; the room was perhpas a little small but as we were only there for one night was fine - the balcony was good, overlooking the pool area. The location was brilliant for us: we wanted to visit Isola Bella and the walk to the jetty was approximately 3-4 minutes.

Beautiful location looking over the lake from many rooms. Near train station and lake steamer pier. Lovely garden at front and garden with swimming pool to rear Excellent breakfast with so many choices including hot and cold buffet and fresh fruit Our room was spacious with very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool

The room had a balcony facing the facilities back yard... very noisy in the morning with a rubbish lorry or some other service cars ...

Love the swimming pool and close local to the ferry boats and a lido on the lake... Great...views from the roof top... The location is a little bit far away from the centre, shops and restaurants and the public beaches... Air conditioning is good. The room is clean, and the bathroom is spacious .. staff is very helpful..

The wifi in our room was not good, often it couldnt connect from our room. We ate breakfast 30 min before the breakfast closed, but we often couldnt get scramble eggs and bacon because there was nothing left. The facilities in our room could have been better.

The pool area is nice and pretty. The location is close to the ferry and a 15 min walk to the city center.

The shower outlet was partially blocked

The hotel is really well-located for catching ferries to the Borromeo islands and also for catching the shuttle to Malpensa airport. It has an old-fashioned charm but a modern pool The breakfast had many varied offerings of high quality. The reception staff were unfailingly helpful.
